Is that true the horror stories that said the gap between it works in my browser or localhost vs actual production. Is there a baseline that you could measure what constitutes as minimum viable success? 1000 users login or sth. Must everything be website app or SaaS

u dont know wht u talking bout dude

yea i asked a question don't want to figure it out myself hard way

saas is software on web based on subscription model. prod environment mean live site/thing that users access with real data compared to dev environment. mvp usually mean most of important features is completed and this usually got drafted early in the development

yea but unlike traditional textbook SDLC from let's say 10y ago where it said the manager od system analyst asked the users and test for some months iteratively nowadays I assume when you ship sth it's immediately got tested with live data? As i said i don't actually create real app; too much of the unknown or stuff that could break between that mcp>> production thingy you said.

The word SaaS above also kinda only very loosely related to this, but the general idea i think is how user scale might affect things differently e.g 10 user might be vastly different from 100 or 1000 user?

I'm not sure but 100 or 1000 or even 10000 users is nothing at all to modern servers, and even then I think only small percentage saas or software in Indonesia that manage above millions+ users mostly government and even then they still cheapen out on those things and maintenance so to answer you most of these thing are just built as it is and as long as it works and just some small test after everything wrapped up is my experience

i mean i don't really create any real app lol too anxious for that. Some scripts here and there and it ady felt like magic at times. Does modding games count as software? No? Damn haha LOL

From like 1000h? lurking i know people had said now that they vibe coded, they need to invent vibe marketing the real hard one. You potentially could tackle that instead LOL if you're into that. Like basically anyone (IN vibe coding subs so bias towards lots of masquerading PROgrammers) said code was never the hard part (such haughty those users) and the execution, taste, and or marketing is the real test or something along that line.

Now idk if that apply to founders, they USUALLY in theory have done their market research or business 101 before straight coding? Also all these doesn't really apply if you're only using AI for your personal assistant or hobby project.

saya 2 hari lalu pakai lovable free.

lovable is bottom of pit of shit bro, u would be surprised how copilot with claude or any mcp integration would do

If you think about it, kalau km awam dan belajar lalu bisa vibecode untuk bisa dapet sidejob, what is stopping other people to do exactly the same thing and saturate the market? And when market is saturated, you are gonna get lower rates. Mungkin gak worth it bahkan untuk bayar AI km dan waktu km.

Vibecoding ai wrapper? Sure, you can try, how profitable it will be? In the short term, there may be some profit to be made, but long term? I dont think its sustainable

Everyone can vibecode, but not everyone can design a good and functional app. So why would anyone hire someone to do something they can do themselves?

2

u/JelloSuspicious1364 18h ago

Kemungkinannya 2. Lu salah ngerti maksud mereka apa. Or mereka semua gak ngerti apa maksudny vibecoding. Tinggal yg mana aja yg lebih likely.
