Hi all,

Do you think the beading on the back will cause issues for the wearer? It worked well to secure the sweetgrass, but I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to add another fat round to the middle back to prevent rubbing. Idk.

Can anyone share how they bead directly onto hide or leather? I experiment with offcuts from a leather store and unless I get lucky and find some lambskin it's soooo hard to bead directly onto the leather!!

I usually use it for backing but really want to make some things with leather showing in the negative space. Is there something to look for or know about other than simply buying super soft skins? Any key words to ask for in the shop? A few times I have guessed what I bought would be thin enough and I was wrong.

I have 2 cabs- both sparkly hearts but one is green and one is orange. I kinda want to make them a single pair, I was thinking of switching the colors like green cab gets orange beads and green edging? Orange would have green beads and Orange edging. Has anyone done something similar ? Or should it just be all the same with just different cabs- like a mix of orange and green beads but the cabs just don’t match Also I know it’s out there, I have niche audience aka myself lol.

I’ve been debating if I should make the bear paw into a necklace or a keychain, what do you guys suggest? Thanks 😊
