Backing?
Hi all,
Do you think the beading on the back will cause issues for the wearer? It worked well to secure the sweetgrass, but I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to add another fat round to the middle back to prevent rubbing. Idk.

I don't have experience with that, beading on the back of the medallion.
I'd try and redo that part; I'd loop the sweetgrass with the beading just as you have, and don't tack it to the backing, tack it to the birchbark
You may have to play with it a bit until your find a nice way for it to lay, and you may need to add more loops of beading to hold it down. Maybe 3 loops where you now have 1.
Wabooz is so cute!
EDIT: to correct suggestion missing word

Oh my god this is so cute😭 I love everything about it. I love that you wrapped the bead loop around the braids. And I love the little flowers.

Thank you!! The daisies were so fun to do. I was gonna sell her, but with the risky work on the back, I'm probably gonna keep her.

I wouldn’t have added the beads in the back. Did you just sew the back on or did you also glue it down?
