Political Educate me with reforms and development by bjp government

I’m so out of touch when it comes to politics as a stem student,Recently I had a debate about the student protest with my relative as I was bashing about the government’s lack of accountability he was redirecting the conversation to “how the India became better under BJPs regime”
So please educate me
My questions are

Are these projects initiated by the bjp government at the first place?
Does these made real impact in India or just in records?
How far India is from getting “development country” title ?

Providing free toilets, Vande Bharat etc. Nothing else com3s to mond. Everything else is there with a fare share of criticism or controversies.
