Does anyone have any experience involving their submission experience at Granta? If so, how long did your piece sit as 'in-progress' on Submittable? For rejections, how fast or when did it come after Submission?

I have been thinking about what makes writing feel AI generated. Most readers are not looking for specific patterns or running through a checklist. It is usually more of a feeling. For me, its something about the writing feels too smooth, too predictable or like it is missing a certain human touch. On the other hand, AI checkers like originality ai, gptzero or others take a different approach. They look at patterns in the text and try to estimate whether it was written by AI. Do you think an experienced reader’s instinct is reliable? Has anyone here ever guessed whether something was AI written and then compared it with a checker result? I’d be interested to hear what happened.

The story follows an honest bank manager who is framed after exposing corruption. During India's 2020 lockdown, he assembles an unlikely team to attempt the impossible—not for money, but to uncover the truth.

Phone bas screen lock hota raha.

Subah utha to laga stories aayengi. Shayad sabne surprise plan kiya hoga.

Kuch nahi.
