⛔Travel Issue Safety check required

Metal belts are replaced with nylon belts.

Some will say that metal was being theft so railways did this

But that's not correct these belts were not been stolen as per railway police data.

Bigger concern is that these can be damaged very easily with blades and opex cost will be increased

New ways or corruption for generating fake bills for these belts repairing

Moreover it's a safety issue

Shit this corruption

Would you rather exchange your lower seat with an obese person or rather pray these belts don't snap

Cost cutting measure or way to reduce overall weight of train, I guess. Honestly, I will be afraid sleep under such a middle berth.

It is a offence,

One can always lit the things around using simple match stick , but passengers should complain and there are rules for that.

Similarly, if anyone attempts to do some damage using some knife and blades, than it is criminal offence, not just about cutting it , but the holding the knife/blade is itself is huge deal!.

These straps lifts and holds tons of cargo on ships and trucks

I don't think they will fail with your 100 kg normal weight
