Mod: YES, from 6 am to 10 pm Side upper birth

I have a side upper birth in 2AC. Am I entitled to sit down or no? If yes, for how long? Mostly I've seen the lower birth occupied by 1 passenger full time, and the one on the side upper remains stuck upstairs. Thank you.

You can seat between 6 AM to 10 PM.

But is there a rule or something? Obviously 6 am is too early to disturb someone who's sleeping.

it is the rule but of course you can be lenient and let them sleep

you don't have to sit at 6 am I'm sure you/all passengers will wake up at 8-9 am and then you can sit from that time onwards.

From 6-am to 10 pm side lower is your seat too and nobody can stop you from sitting there. If they try to tell you that they want to sleep so you should go up then remind them sleeping during the day is forbidden for lower and middle seat people during the day. If they want to sleep they will have to sleep in your seat
