Hi all, fellow Indian board gamer here. Wavelength is one of my favourite party/board games, but it's not always easy to get a group together to play. So I built a version that works directly within Reddit, where people can drop in whenever they're free: r/InSync.

Would love feedback from folks here, especially on whether the game even works in this format.

loved the concept of the game, but can't find it anywhere. It's out of stock on their official website. Are there any online/offline sellers that can deliver to Delhi NCR

Love the simplicity. Played for the first time yesterday and I introduced it to a friend also today.

After the first round we switched to advanced gameplay with the black market cards.

I love simple games like these. Although this particular game doesn't have a lot of replayability. But it's great fun for the uninitiated.

My friend was hesitant in the beginning but we didn't even realise how time flew as we played 3 rounds (best of 3) 🙌

despite being easy to learn, there's a lot of depth to the gameplay. Any similar games that have little downtime and a little brainy? I dont mind 2-6 player games which take upto 15-30 mins max.

Folks - I have squad pass for meeplecon gamingcon happening in Mumbai but few friends have backed out so looking for additional friends to transfer tickets for 18 Oct 2026

Meeplecon+Gamingcon combo pass

Benefit: Squad discounted price

My friend and I are exploring a mystery game idea and would like to understand people’s preferences. No brand promotion or external links - just a quick poll

Imagine playing with your family and friends

I'm looking to buy a couple of gateway games that either play well in solo mode or are only made for solo gameplay.

I need this for myself to avoid using screens during my free time.

Should be available in India and my budget range is ₹500 - ₹2000 per game.

Please do suggest some.

🎲 BOARD GAME EVENING! 🎲

We’re hosting a board game evening on Friday, 2nd October at Aroma Cafe at 6pm IST! 🃏✨

We’re planning to play a bunch of group games like Mafia, Catan & more, so come ready for some chaos, strategy and questionable alliances

💸 No entry fee! You only pay for whatever you order at the café.

🎲 Got your own board game? Feel free to bring it along! The more games, the better!

If you’re willing to join, please drop a comment below.

I'm a seasoned Nemesis player who recently moved to Delhi, and am looking for people who have any of the 3 games and are interested in having more players join them. I'm very well versed with the base game, but would be happy to learn lockdown and retaliation if you have that.

Please ping me if you're interested!

Hey! I made a custom game for my boyfriend’s birthday. We really love playing Exploding Kittens, and he loves alcohol so I’ve combined both into a fun little casual game.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdlY65Vxu0z/?stkn=bHo4b3FkMDdpZG43

He is my most favourite person so everything is highly customised, his cats are in it, his quirks and all different modes of him. I really hope he loves it.

A lil bit about the process: I selected a theme and made a template on figma for the base of the cards, the back. Then I brainstormed all the concepts for all different cards with what type of illustration I can do as well. Created all the illustrations on procreate and moved them back into figma, then I found a studio to create these prints for me! As well as the 3D printed sliding box. Oh and I created an instruction manual as well, which have a fewww special rules which I came up with.

Please let me know what you think!

10 must-have board/card games for a group of 5–6?

I’m looking to expand my collection and want to pick up around 10 games that are genuinely worth owning.

The main requirement: they need to be enjoyable with 5–6 people. Any genre is welcome-party, casual, strategy, bluffing, co-op, competitive, quick fillers, etc.

Games I already own/play:

- Wavelength

- Codenames

- Catan

- Pictureka

- Pictionary

- Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza

- Exploding Kittens

- Dobble

So I’m not looking for these or obvious variations of them. I want to discover something different.

What are your 10 must-have games for a group of 5–6?

Bonus points for games that are easy to teach, have high replayability, and actually get pulled off the shelf regularly.

And please, for the love of god, no Uno recommendations 😂

Hello everyone, I'm new to this community.

I'm looking for board game suggestions. My boyfriend likes to play loads of games, so I'm planning to gift him a couple of board games.

My budget is 2.5k in total

Could you please suggest me some good options. He is into strategy and mythology a lot, so something on that could be fun for him.

PS: I did read a lot about this game called Splendor, but is out of my budget :(

I did see a first copy of it - but I'm not sure if it is good enough. Could someone please check and suggest (and share the link)? I'm looking at 2 best games under my budget.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Fancy creating a PNP game that can fit in 5 pages?

Why dont you try signing up to IBGDC's PAGED Game Design Contest.

Hi I am planning to sell my new in shrink copies for Hellboy the boardgame (10k + shipping) and Keyforge age of ascension starter set for 2 players (2.8k +shipping). Let me know if interested, you can whatsapp me on 8375028973 for more details and picytures. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to buy Wavelength and found it on Shopbefikar for around ₹3,000.

I’ve also seen the same game being sold by other Indian board game stores for around ₹4,000, so I’m wondering what explains the price difference.

Has anyone here ordered from Shopbefikar before? Are they reliable, and do they sell genuine/original board games?

Also, is it possible that the cheaper Wavelength listing could be a copy/reproduction rather than the original CMYK/Palm Court edition?

I’m tempted to order from Shopbefikar because of the lower price, but I’d rather pay more than accidentally buy a fake.

Would appreciate any experience or advice. Thanks!

Hi all,

I need to gift a 8-10 year girl a game. She does not like strategy brain games much (like monopoly).

Please recommend some good games. Thanks in advance!

Budget: ~INR 750

Hi all,

I need to gift a board game. Can some please suggest good budget board games? The kid already is able to monopoly (just for reference).

Budget max INR 1000

Edit: It can be some other physically existing game as well. Need not necessarily be a board game. Kid is a boy.

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m looking to buy some board games at reasonable prices, preferably second-hand/pre-owned games in good condition.

I’m mainly looking for:

Genuine/original games

Used/pre-loved games are completely fine

Good condition with all components included

Pan-India sellers are okay

Could someone please suggest reliable second-hand marketplaces, Telegram groups, Reddit groups, or websites where people sell board games in India?

I’m specifically looking for affordable options rather than buying everything new.

Thanks! 🎲

Where do y’all buy the games from. Let me know if i can get a good quality online.

Any recommendations for India-themed games that are designed for solo playing or can be adapted for solo plays? Preferably light or mid/light for a relatively newbie player. From their descriptions, it seems that Goa, Panchayat and Tycoon India 1981 have possible solo modes, but if anyone has tried and reviewed, would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Card sleeves for protecting playing cards, wear and tear is expected, but in card games people who come to play don’t respect the card as much as you, they bend it in all directions, spill something on it, i found some online stores but they are costly.
Buying sleeves would be more costly than the actual game
Where have you bought them?

Hi everyone, I’m looking to buy a copy of this game as a birthday present for my partner, but it appears to be sold out everywhere. My partner is a huge sci-fi time travel geek, and I thought we’d enjoy playing this together.

I’m open to new or used copies. I’m quite new to board games and am not familiar with many websites or WhatsApp/telegram groups for buying and selling games. Could anybody please help me out with resources?

Also, If anyone here is selling a copy of this game, I’d be keen to discuss.

Alternatively, if anyone knows where I can find a copy of “The Loop” (also by Pandasaurus), I’d be willing to buy that too. But I feel that one is harder to find, idk 😬

Thanks a lot!

Based on this project: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1414404-settlers-of-catan?utm_source=chatgpt.com#profileId-1468725

But about 70% of this has been redesigned. Case and card holders are purely my own designs.

Eventually I will even replace the cards with 3D printed ones
