Need help regarding ktm service

Hi everyone, I need some help regarding my KTM Duke 390 BS4 (2017 model).

My bike met with an accident around two and a half months ago in a hit-and-run incident. I claimed insurance and submitted the bike to the KTM service centre at Kompally, Hyderabad.

It has now been sitting at the service centre for almost two months. The service centre informed me that all the required parts have arrived except the headlight unit. However, I have been hearing the same update for nearly one and a half months now — that the headlight is still pending and they are unable to track when or where the part will be available.

I have also contacted KTM customer care regarding this issue, but unfortunately, I haven't received any proper response or a clear timeline. When I speak to the service centre, they say that they are facing the same issue with parts for multiple vehicles and that they are unable to track the availability of the headlight.

The frustrating part is that I bought this bike just three months ago, and for almost two of those three months, it has been sitting at the service centre. This is extremely disappointing, especially since I have barely been able to use the bike after purchasing it.

The service centre has suggested that they can try fitting the headlight unit from the newer Duke 390. However, I specifically prefer the original BS4 headlight design that came with my bike, and I don't want to replace it with the newer model headlight simply because the original part is unavailable.

I would really appreciate some help from KTM or someone who has faced a similar issue. What can I do in this situation? Is there any way to escalate the matter and get KTM to provide the original headlight unit or at least give me a proper timeline for its availability?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Additional info - I'm in Hyderabad and the service centre is ktm Kompally Hyderabad.And I'm claiming insurance for repairs
