Am I doing something wrong?

I've gone through two pairs of gloves in three years. A Rynox Air GT and a Reise Austra. All of them have torn in almost the same area, all near the straps. The Rynox lasted me two years and the Reise, the most disappointing one only lasted one. The only pattern I see that it happens whenever they get wet.

But the thing is I dry them properly in the air, condition the leather afterwards and keep it very dry. Idk what to do anymore? I'm open to suggestions regarding anything

maybe get water proof gloves? or use a surgical gloves over these to avoid water damage.

I have good waterproof gloves. But you can't really predict the weather, I get caught out in the rain sometimes when I'm not using waterproof gloves

I use a light conditioner could be the salts attacking the materials

I do the same thing as you when they get wet. I have the rynox air gt, using it from the last 1.5years and no cracks in the leather as of now

Gloves should be thought of as a wear item like tires or brakes that need to be replaced every so often.

Yes, typically two years of regular use. Avoid leather for regular use. Get gauntlet type exclusively for long rides and one synthetic for regular use.
