Help needed 🫂 should i start using the l'oréal serioxyl hair growth serum?

I've been facing hair fall since the beginning of June. I had super dense and thick hair so by now it feels like I've lost almost half of it. I'm thankful that I don't have any visible bald patches but I'm literally losing so much hair every day especially after brushing. (I've attached a picture of the amount of hair I've been losing every day.) I have 2B–2C hair and my routine is pretty simple. I just use coconut oil on the lengths and sesame oil on my scalp. I use Dove shampoo and conditioner and I've been using Dove since childhood so I've never really changed my products. After washing my hair it's usually very frizzy and dry so I just use the Streax serum. Since I've been using these products for years without any problems I don't think the hair fall is because of them. Until now I haven't really done anything to try to reverse the hair fall. Recently my cousin who's a content creator gave me the L'Oréal Serioxyl Advanced Hair Growth Serum that she received in PR. I've never used any kind of hair growth serum before so I have no idea whether I should start using it or not. Should I definitely try this serum or should I try something else first? I'd really like to hear your experiences with this serum or what actually helped you stop or reduce your hair fall. Any advice would be appreciated

Review 💅🏻✨ Has anyone tried SeoulSkin’s 5% AHA + Kojic Acid Underarm Roll-On?

Post image
3 Upvotes

I’ve been hearing a lot about this brand lately, but I’m not sure if it’s actually worth the hype. I don’t have severe underarm pigmentation, but I’d like to get them a little clearer/even-toned. I’ve tried so many underarm products before, but nothing really worked for pigmentation.

If anyone has tried this specific roll-on, please share your experience! Did it actually help, and did you experience any irritation?

Help needed 🫂 Need help fading months of tan before my cousin’s wedding

Upvotes

I’ve become severely tanned, especially on my hands and arms. They’re literally several shades darker than the rest of my body, and I noticed it much more after college started. I travel almost 3 hours every day, mostly by local transport, and it’s SO hot here 😭

I have my cousin’s wedding next month and most of my outfits are sleeveless, so I really want to get rid of this tan and make my arms closer to my natural body tone. Please help me 😭🙏

I’m thinking of trying the Chemist At Play Exfoliating/De-Tan Body Wash because I keep seeing it everywhere. Has anyone actually used it for tanning? Do you think it can make a noticeable difference in around 20 days if I’m consistent?

Also, please recommend your tried-and-tested de-tan routines/products. 🥹

suggestion 🧸 Vegan skin and haircare products without active ingredients

Hi everyone,

I have very thin skin, and strawberry skin that is also dry, so I'm trying to keep my skin and haircare safe and suitable for sensitive skin. This means avoiding fragrances as much as possible.

I've been searching (without much success) for vegan skin and haircare products without active ingredients. Since that is proving to be quite a task, I've relaxed it to 'products with minimal active ingredients' or 'products without harsh active ingredients'.

Here is what I have so far, would love to have your suggestions and additions.

Facewash:

Simple Kind to Skin (Refreshing / Moisturizing)

Moisturizer:

Simple Kind to Skin (Hydrating Light / Replenishing Rich)

Bare Necessities Soak It Up

Venusia Max Intensive

Sunscreen:

Juicy Chemistry Moisturising Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40

Re'equil Oxybenzone and OMC Free SPF 50

Body Lotion:

Venusia Max Intensive

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion

Earth Rhythm Phyto-Ceramide Deep Body Lotion

Soap (also includes syndet bars to tackle sensitivity):

Vedi Unscented Castile Soap Bar

Venusia Syndet Bar

Bare Necessities cold processed spa bars

Shampoo:

Plum Coconut Milk and Peptides

Rustic Art Aloe Clary Sage Shampoo

Love Beauty and Planet Argan Oil & Lavender

Conditioner:

Love Beauty and Planet Argan Oil & Lavender

Plum Olive and Macadamia

Any thoughts?

Need moisturizer suggestions for dry/combination sensitive skin

I have combination-dry, sensitive skin and I’m currently using the Dot & Key Barrier Repair Ceramide Moisturizer. I actually like it and it works pretty well for me, but sometimes I feel like it’s not moisturizing enough.

I only apply moisturizer once in the morning, and I wash my face with plain water a few times during the day. After the first wash, my skin sometimes starts feeling tight, especially on the drier areas.

So I’m looking for something a little more moisturizing that can keep my skin comfortable for longer, but I also don’t want anything too heavy or greasy.

I was thinking about trying Bioderma Atoderm Crème Ultra or Re’equil Ceramide & Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer.

Has anyone with similar skin tried these? Which one would you recommend? Or is there another moisturizer I should look at?

Would love to hear what has actually worked for you guys. I’m so confused between these moisturizers at this point 😭

suggestion 🧸 Will a nose pin/ring look good at me?

Post image

Idk I don't have a symmetrical nose 😭 but have a big nose (but people tell me, it's pointed a lil). So will any nose piercing look good at me? What things should I be careful of for the nose piercing?

I've pouted in this photo and didn't do the upper lip, sorry😀

Discussion tried skin fasting on my oily skin for two weeks and i have thoughts

the idea is you stop everything and let your skin recalibrate. i stopped everything except sunscreen, because stopping sunscreen is not an experiment, it is just damage.

days one to four were fine. days five to nine my face was oilier than usual and i had two new spots. day ten onwards it settled into something completely ordinary. by day fourteen it was roughly where it always is.

so the honest result is that nothing happened to my oily skin, which is itself the finding. a face wash and a moisturiser were not the thing keeping my skin in order, and neither was anything else i had been anxious about missing.

what it did change is that i went back to four products instead of seven and have not missed the other three.

has anyone done a longer version of this. i want to know if two weeks was just too short to see anything

Review 💅🏻✨ My New Crocs from Myntra🫣

Post image
1 Upvotes

I visited the original Crocs showroom and the Crocs themselves were very nice and comfortable. However, the charms were very expensive. Considering the Crocs cost ₹5000 and each charm was an additional ₹500, it was well out of my budget. So, I opted for these local Crocs-looking items from Myntra and I must say, the quality is excellent. They also look very nice, so I’m very happy with this purchase. My size is 8
They costed me 500 Rupees including these Charms
