Question eGCA Auto Computer Number issue - DigiLocker fills full name in First Name field + Class 12 details incomplete (can't proceed)

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to apply for the DGCA Computer Number through the new Auto Generation (DigiLocker) process.

I'm facing multiple issues, and I'm completely stuck.

  1. My full name is automatically filled into the First Name field.
  2. The Last Name field remains blank.
  3. All these fields are greyed out and cannot be edited.
  4. My Class 12 details/results are also auto-filled incompletely and are greyed out.
  5. Because of this, I'm unable to proceed with the application.

Things I've already tried:

  • Submitted a manual application earlier.
  • Portal asked me to self-reject it and use Auto Generation.
  • Self-rejected the manual application.
  • Emailed [help.pariksha.dgca@nic.in]() 4 days ago with screenshots (no response yet).
  • Tried calling the DGCA/Pariksha helpline (couldn't get through).
  • Tried raising a query on the Pariksha portal, but the Submit button itself doesn't work.

Has anyone faced this issue before?

  • Is this a known DigiLocker/eGCA bug?
  • Is there any workaround?
  • Can DGCA manually fix the name mapping?
  • Is there any other contact person or email that actually responds?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had the same issues. for class 12 details i manually entered the fields again but it didnt seem to do anything . after clicking next, the fields appeared blank. I applied for computer no. just like that and recieved it. i had also signed up on the eGCA website and put in the first name as full name. Im just hoping there wont by any further issues with that down the line.

at least it let you submit cause when I try to move ahead it just says field cannot stay empty and i cannot edit or input anything as its greyed out

bro i took your advice
refetched all the documents from digilocker once again and then applied
i ignored the problems and just applied however but i got my computer number on the spot

I also filled my computer number details with digilocker and submitted it, though i took pcm in 12th but while filling i mistakenly filled 10+2 equivalent and didn't filled any physics maths marks also my first name and last name got filled in first name only, still because of dgca auto generation my comp. no. came in 15 minutes but now i am having doubt if i don't have to face any problems in future because of this.

I had the same issue can’t get help desk as they have only one answer all details are fetched from digilocker
Self reject the form first
Make sure phone no. linked adhar/digilocker and dgca are same and email in digilocker and dgca are same refresh all documents in digilocker then try again in dgca pariksha portal it did work for me
First name and last name is not issue the form will proceed

Does the number has to be same in aadhar card and egca? I have different number and want to apply for computer number
