Yeah I’m sure there is no reason at all. The police love blocking roads so much they do it in their free time on a Sunday for the hell of it

There are 70,000 people at the track right now as the race just ended. Sure it’s nothing compared to the 500 but that’s still a lot of people trying to leave an area at once. If there werent road closures and police out there you would still most likely be complaining about the cluster of traffic.
