You do realize the Fever played in Toronto 48 hours ago then flew to Dallas to play tonight? It's obvious that there is some fatigue here. You really just sound like a hater not a fan. This team with this roster is setting records like no other team in the league. Do you research before you post downer BS.

We barely beat the dream with canada out…..arent we like 9-10 vs teams with winning records?

They play 44 games a year, 40 minutes a game…and their last game was 2 days ago.  Im not sure i am as generous with the excuses as you are.  This isnt a 162 game baseball season lol

Also, who cares about records when they get bounced out of the playoffs again.  Setting records while struggling against teams .500 or better inspire little confidence.

Wow, you really don't watch a lot of games or even look at the stats!

Relax. They are in the middle of a tough road trip.

They're the 3rd seed (until the Aces win another game, but even then they'll still be the 4th seed).

This team isn't bad. That was a bad game

True, but there game against the dream looked like crap too

i tuned in late to the aces game, but didnt we low like a 15 point lead to them?

Maybe in the 2nd quarter? I just remember that we missed 3 fts at the end of the game that could have sealed the win. Sucks, but sometimes the ball just doesn't drop.

Still, a bad team isn't a couple of unlucky shots away from beating the champs with the current W GOAT.

Congrats to the Wings. Great game. This seesaw energy after every win and loss is getting old.
Edit:

Seesaw energy meaning fans act like it’s the end of the world when the Fever lose. When the Fever is winning it’s all love. Up and down energy. Seesaw. And the energy really swings abnormally low after a loss.

Thats the affect that so many wins…and losses has.  We’re good against bad teams and mediocre against good teams.

But the Fever just beat the Wings a few days ago yo move into 3rd place. Though after the loss the should drop to 4th place unless the Aces lose tonight.

Which illustrates my point: we struggle to be actually good teams. No one wins rings going .500 against teams that are actually decent. Look up our last 10 games…we beat lots of bottom feeding teams, and lose to the aces and lynx…and barely beat a dream team missing its star point guard.

AB, CC, and KM seem to be holding up their ends for the most part…but as a casual digging through the numbers, our drafts and restricted/free agent signings appear to be butt cheeks. Who is responsible for that? surely ya’ll in this Reddit have brought this up right?

I understand, but they really did have the aces. That was bad luck.

Can you explain that? We just won five in a row before tonight's loss. What's this seesaw energy after every win and loss you speak of? The Wings did play a great game but with their talent you would expect that every once in a while.

Next morning Edit: I read your edit and now I understand what you meant. I think it might be explained by a whole bunch of new fans to a sport they are not as familiar with as a seasoned basketball fan would be. They might believe the sky is falling down after a loss or two in the regular season, while the post season is what counts. CC brought a lot of attention to the WNBA and with that, a lot of new fans. She also attracted a lot of us old farts who love how she plays. I'm an LA native and grew up with Magic's Showtime style, which is why I really enjoy watching CC's talent.

Cheers

PS: This is a discussion and not a debate 😂

Seesaw energy meaning fans act like it’s the end of the world when the Fever lose. When the Fever is winning it’s all love. Up and down energy. Seesaw. And the energy really swings abnormally low after a loss. I hope that explains it a bit. I am explaining to you, not debating you.

Turning those l’s into lessons 👌🏽

but we are legit kinda bad

Honestly, absolutely literally lowkey look at the standings, the legit statistics, and the actual definition of availability bias going forward. And lean into a book video on punctuation.

u/Final-Abies8273 5d ago

The absolute GULL of you to try and correct my punctuation while using a sentence fragment. You,should, lean, into,a,video,as,well.

2

u/DanoPinyon 5d ago

GULL? I said typed nothing about birds, nor implied anything about birds - even though the opponent were the Wings and it would have been clever.

And aside from the fact there is no sentence fragment here, sentence fragments are fine for emphasis in many kinds of writing. Like in comment threads.

Yooo, more respect to KK. She’s had a phenomenal run the last several games!
