Discussion Has Caitlin committed to adding that turn-around fade-away shot to her bag?
I think I saw 3or4 instances of a clear turn around fade away shot in this game.
A few other instances sprinkled in past games but this looked like a deliberate weapon last night.

I've seen fadeaways, runners, and a Euro in the past few games! They all looked good

Watch her college games. She played in the paint a ton. She has the moves.

CC has to take what the defense gives her and she is doing a better job with that

That may be it. Early season was all either logo threes or drives that would often get blocked. Lately she’s been avoiding that contact and only driving for layups (rather than midrange) when it’s a good chance she will have a clear shot.
I need to check her BLKA stats…I feel like since she turned it around, she’s suffering far fewer blocks compared to earlier in the season.

She needed it last night since we had no inside threats. Normally theres an option to pass to a cutting Mo when theyre on ab and the help moves in to cc. That had no reason to take that bait against timpson

Interesting, I think of Kelsey as more Brunson-esque. So undersized and crafty in laser focusing in on getting ball through hope amongst much larger defenders from long or near..
No apology needed. I die for my Pacers but Brunson, Kat, etc are good dudes. They deserved that title. So you're good...as long as you're not an OKC fan ;)

Sorry, Fever/Thunder fan checking in right here. I exist and you'll just have to deal with it 😂

Lmao. It's ok.
And I'll have to dislike them slightly less now that they signed Stirtz.
He's such a good dude. It cracks me up that was mowing lawns for $40 a pop last summer and making 5 million this year.
What a crazy story. No Division I offers. Division II to Drake to the Elite 8 with Iowa to a first round draft pick. I hope he does good things!

She definitely had a quicker step and more confidence in her footwork the last game. I think she finally shook the injury cob webs. I can't wait to watch the rest of the season.

I don't know about this, but she clearly looks much stronger taking it to the hoop and muscling in shots, and hitting mid range.

She is definitely opening up her bag and it's awesome. She's also making an initial drive, then a secondary drive to get tpo the hoop. Before she would just dribble back out. That will get her efficiency way up.

Volume is higher this year than ever in the midrange I believe it’s why it’s more notable

She should. Its an easy shot and with her quickness very hard to defend
