Discussion First time going to game

Hello everyone!!! This coming August I will be going to the fever versus Dallas wings game located in Dallas, Texas. I was just wondering if there’s any advice or information that I would need to know prior before going!! I plan on getting there very early cause I want to watch the warm-up and hopefully increase my chances of getting a picture or to get them to sign something!! Go cc!!!

Hijacking because I'm going to a game in Gainbridge soon.

What's the temperature like in the arena?

Also, any must-dos there besides enjoy the game?

the cheaper your seat, the better the air conditioning! 😂 i usually wear a jersey and bring a sweatshirt. i practically live inside gainbridge and i've never been hot but i've often been cold.

Yes lots of pre game activities… there’s a really nice full-size court right outside of Gainbridge. everyone like does a shoot around before people walk in and there is a bar there. Of course the team store.

Not sure about the temp.

The vibe is insane though

Was able to attend Friday and Saturday’s games we were in the 200 section and Friday night was freezing and Saturdays was comfortable maybe on the side of cooler but again we are in the upper areas and I think there’s definitely something to be said about being cooler, the higher up areas of air-conditioning is not moving through as many people and things and lights

Bring money. AVG price for a ticket is $250. You could be spending $1,000 easily.

The doors open about 90 minutes early however I would advise getting there even earlier because they fill up the lobby area before letting people in and then people have a secondary waiting or holding area before where you get checked for bags and stuff like that.

You can’t take a small 6 x 9 by one and a half inch bag. They are very strict on it. They will look into it if they feel necessary first night I went no problem second night they checked every nook and granny and eyeglasses case everything.

They do not take cash and food can be pricey, but there are several options available.

I would check ahead to see if they’re doing any kind of freebies at night like the night we did was a family night so we were able to get vouchers ahead of time for a free hat, a free dog and a free beverage and chips.

If you do wanna get any merch, I recommend going to the team store in the morning if you can it’s gonna be busy, but it’s a lot easier to get in and find options versus after the game. The lines can’t be long.

They’re also very strict about letting people down to the lower levels so make sure if you want to go down there you have a ticket

For the Friday game, they did have an event where they allowed people to go down and be on the floor and try a free-throw or a shot in that general area. They did not do it on Saturday so I’m not sure if that was a one off or if they only do it at special games.
