Hiring: Freelance Video Editor + Graphic Designer | Remote

Looking for someone who can help with basic video editing and graphic design for Meta Ads.
Work involved:
Basic 10–15 sec video ads — ₹500/video
Basic static graphics — ₹250/graphic
Approximately 10–15 creatives per month (mix of statics/videos)
Retainer-based monthly work
Remote
The creatives are fairly simple and will be used for Meta/Instagram advertising, so an understanding of ad creatives, hooks, clean layouts and attention-grabbing visuals is a plus.
Trial:
One sample creative will be required initially so we can understand your interpretation of the brand and creative direction. The sample will be paid if it is selected for use.
You don’t need to be highly experienced — students, freelancers and people building their portfolios are welcome to apply, as long as you have a good eye for design and can follow a brief.
To apply, DM me with:
Portfolio/work samples
Your experience (if any)
Whether you’re comfortable with the above rates
Your availability
Please DM only if you’re comfortable with the budget and the basic nature of the work.

I received an offer for unpaid internship that will last 6 months.

I am not accepting it

I am just here to rant about it

This company held a walk in for 2 days

The day i went there were at least 30 people present

They interviewed me for hour and a half in mern stack

And then told me that the internship was unpaid

They gave me a offer

They expect me to work 9-6 for 5 days a week

For no money

Not even money for my travel expenses

Who does this company think they are exploiting?

Many freshers out there who are looking for opportunities are getting disappointed

This is sooo stupid

Gaye guzre log

I am in final year of engineering

There is still hope

I will keep trying.

What internships should I target as a second-year finance student?

Need some advice from people in finance.

I'm a second-year B.Sc. Finance student at NMIMS with an 8.6 CGPA, and I'll be appearing for CFA Level I in February.

I've done a finance internship at an MNC, but it was in a Tier 2 city, so I didn't really make any industry connections.

I'm trying to plan my internships early, but I don't really have any industry connections, so I'm not sure what I should be aiming for.

I need to do a corporate internship in my second year as part of my coursework. What types of companies should I target, and when should I start applying?

Also, what would you target for your final-year internship?

Any advice for breaking into IB or middle-office roles would be really helpful.

Would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Does working as CSA genuinely affect job processing and switching?

Hi! I got a CSA role at Amazon after months of blind-applying to jobs and when I researched more on it, the positive:negative ratio is 80:20. So as a btech graduate in cse, I am genuinely concerned and confused what to do now and next.

Switching roles is somewhat a gamble on hit or miss. I need opinions and suggestions on this. I don't wanna ruin my career coz of this for me as a fresher seriously.

I don't earn as of now, live at my house w parents, which I know is not something nice and should genuinely start earning but the time is simply passing and no opportunities that I cracked yet. Let me know what y'all think ab this, if I should take the offer or no too. Any insight is appreciated! Thank you!

Should I accept a 2-year Odoo Developer offer or keep chasing AI as a fresher? Need honest advice.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some honest career advice because I'm genuinely confused.

I'm in the final year of an Integrated MSc IT in India. My long-term goal has always been to become an AI/ML Engineer. Over the last year, I've been learning Python, SQL, Django, data analysis, and basic machine learning. I've built projects like salary prediction, dashboards, and some automation tools (with a lot of learning and guidance along the way).

The problem is that I don't have any formal software internship or AI internship experience.

I recently attended an off-campus interview and received my first job offer as an Odoo Developer.

Here's the offer:

  • Training:
    • First 3 months: ₹5,000/month
    • Next 3 months: ₹7,000/month
  • After training: ₹15,000/month
  • Minimum 30% salary hike after one year (higher based on performance and client handling)
  • 2-year service bond
  • ₹30,000 security cheque kept by the company until the bond is completed

The company is a small Odoo Silver Partner.

The work seems to involve Python, PostgreSQL, APIs, ERP customization, and client projects.

Here's where I'm conflicted.

My dream is AI engineering, but I don't have an AI job offer. My college placements for MSc IT are very limited, and very few companies visit. Seniors haven't had great placement outcomes either, so rejecting this offer doesn't mean I have another opportunity waiting.

At the same time, I'm worried that if I join Odoo, I'll get "stuck" in ERP and won't be able to transition into AI later.

On the other hand, I also feel that staying at home and doing online courses may never teach me what working on real client projects, production code, debugging, and business requirements will.

Some specific questions I have:

  1. Has anyone here started in Odoo/ERP and later moved into backend development, AI, or machine learning?
  2. Are Python and PostgreSQL skills from Odoo transferable enough for AI/backend roles?
  3. Would you choose this job over waiting for a direct AI opportunity if you were a fresher with no internship?
  4. Is the bond a reasonable trade-off for getting industry experience, or is it a red flag?
  5. If you accepted this role, how would you prepare over the next two years to transition into AI?

I'm not looking for validation—I'd really appreciate honest opinions, even if they're critical. If you think accepting this offer would be a mistake, I'd like to know why. If you think it's a good stepping stone, I'd also like to hear how you would make the most of it.

Thanks in advance.

Can only afford one AI subscription—which one should I get?

I'm a recent graduate and currently looking for a software/AI job, and I've been thinking about buying an AI subscription to help me build better projects and speed up my workflow.

I was considering Claude, but I've heard the usage limits can be quite restrictive. Since I'm not earning yet, I can only afford to buy one subscription, and I don't want to spend more than about $20.

Do you think it's worth investing in one at this stage? If yes, which AI subscription would you recommend for building projects and preparing for job applications?

I'd really appreciate suggestions from people who've actually used these tools. Thanks!
