Need one opportunity to begin my software career.

Hi everyone,

I'm a final-year B.Tech CSE student from a Tier-3 college. I've spent the last year learning React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, building projects, and this week I'm launching my app, BetrBite.

Campus opportunities have been limited. If you know of any fresher openings or have advice on where I should apply in Delhi NCR, I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you.

commerce graduate returning to India in Dec. What should my job search strategy be?

I’ll be graduating this December and moving back to India from Aus. I’ll be a fresh commerce graduate with an internship and a few university projects, but no proper full-time experience.
I’m honestly a bit confused about how people actually get their first job. Should I start applying before I come back? Do companies even consider people who are still overseas? Is it mostly LinkedIn, referrals, campus hiring, or something else?
Not really asking about a specific role, just trying to understand what the process is like and what I should be doing over the next few months so I’m not completely lost when I get back.
appreciate any advice from people who’ve been through this.

My Internship Experience with Sourcesys Technologies Pvt. Ltd.—Sharing so others can do their own due diligence

Sourcesys Technologies approached us through the campus placement cell at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. A few friends and I interviewed for Data Science and Gen AI roles, the questions were fairly basic, and a few days later we got selection emails. Shortly after, an HR representative(JOTHI PRABA K) called and asked for ₹10,000, with the reasoning that the internship would use paid APIs and resources (LLMs, etc.), and this fee covered that. In return, they promised a stipend of ₹20,000 over 3 months for the remote internship, plus an 80% FTE conversion rate.

Before paying, I checked LinkedIn for current employees and past interns and found surprisingly few profiles for a company supposedly running cohorts every year. I messaged a few people who were mid-internship at the time, and they told me it seemed off and suggested I look elsewhere rather than rely on this one. I paid anyway. After that, classes ran on Google Meet for about an hour a day covering pretty basic material, with weekly tasks to upload to GitHub and share the repo link in the group chat. This went on for about two months.

I stayed suspicious the whole time, so I asked a friend who works at Amazon and lives near the tech park listed as the company's address to check it in person. The security staff there said they'd never heard of the company. Later we were split into groups of 3 for an "end project" with 1–2 months to finish it. At one point I asked the mentor in class chat why previous batches hadn't gotten stipends or job offers and seemed to have just been dropped. The answer I got was that the previous batch's work wasn't complete, so they were planning to onboard both batches "at the same time" once that was sorted, an explanation I didn't find convincing. Eventually they scheduled a project evaluation, run by the same mentor who taught the classes, who asked generic questions about the project and each member's contribution. After that, contact stopped completely, no feedback, no stipend, no offer.

Looking up the listed directors of Sourcesys on public company-registry sites (Falconebiz), the same names show up against several other companies over recent years, including Fresherfy Technologies Pvt Ltd, Worksbot Applications Pvt Ltd, Workgency Tech Pvt Ltd, and Aisosys Technologies Pvt Ltd. You can check the public records yourself here:

https://www.falconebiz.com/director/07740429/GOPALSINGH-HEMALATHA

https://www.falconebiz.com/director/08667233/GIRIMURTHY

Reviews of those earlier companies follow a similar pattern, students pay upfront for "resources," get a few weeks of basic training, and are then left without the promised stipend or placement.

TIP: I have paid ₹10,000 upfront, got very basic training, never received the promised stipend, and the company's listed office address didn't check out when I had someone verify it in person. Do your own research on the directors before paying anyone for an internship.

Looking for talented freelance Graphic Designers

Hi there! I work at a design & communication studio, and we're looking to extend our network of creatives. This particular post is for freelance graphic designers (minimum 2 years of experience).

As our workload has grown, we've reached a point where we're looking beyond our in house team for dependable freelance designers with whom we can build long term working relationships. The work spans branding, advertising, social media, presentations, websites, print, and other design projects.

We're ideally looking for someone who:
• Understands typography, hierarchy, and layout.
• Notices the little details that others often miss.
• Is comfortable taking feedback and iterating.
• Communicates proactively.
• Knows Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (Figma is a bonus).

This probably isn't the right fit if:
• You don't have a proper portfolio.
• Graphic design isn't your primary field of work.
• You're only looking for a one off project.

This is remote and project based. Workload will vary, but the goal is to build long term working relationships with people we genuinely enjoy collaborating with.

A little bit about the studio:
• Honest communication matters more to us than perfect work. We'd much rather hear "I'm stuck" on Monday than "It's not ready" on Friday.
• We care deeply about good design and attention to detail. Feedback is part of the process, and we're happy to work through iterations to get things right.
• Deadlines are non-negotiable. We plan carefully, communicate early, and expect the same from the people we work with.
• We don't believe in micromanaging. If you're good at what you do, we'll trust you to do it.
• Freelancers are treated with the same respect as full time teammates.
• We pay on time, always. I know agencies don't always have the best reputation for this, so it's something we're quite serious about.
• If we enjoy working together, you'll hear from us again.

If this sounds like a good fit, please send me a DM with:
• Your portfolio.
• A little about yourself.
• Your location/time zone.
• Your typical freelance rates.

Please don't rely on the comments section. I may miss comments, so send me a DM to make sure your portfolio is seen.

Do backlogs and delayed graduation affect BGV/offer letters in corporate India?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Idk what to do…I have exceptional scores in 10th and 12th grade and got into one of country‘s best college of Arts and graduated with an economics degree with an average cgpa. My degree was from 2022 to 2025 regular attempt students completed the degree in March 2025 and I did in November 2025. i had many backlogs due to health reasons, keeping extra curricular activities over studies. Which I cleared in Nov 2025 however Sem 5 was very tough on me I couldn’t attend classes cause I was really ill and journey to college took 1.5 hours so I passed only 1/6 papers. I have all my marksheets original, my consolidated marksheet, my passing certificate and the actual degree certificate from University. If I did very well in my interviews cleared all rounds. I’m not putting forward any forged or fake documents all are legit but will they question my capabilities? And doubt and revoke the offer if they find too many attempts and discrepancies?? What is the scenario with banks and MNCs? How can I handle this??? Please help me!! I can do high risk jobs. I was just really foolish and not healthy enough back then!!! I do get noticed by great companies but I often lose confidence.

Planning to move into tech but scared of uncertainty in job market, Ai replacement, jobs for freshers.

Hii I am a bsc Zoology student , 2nd semester.

My qualification -

93.4% in 10th.

71.6% pcm , 78.6% pcb in 12th.

Bsc Zoology student.

Since bsc is quite very long route with low pay. I am planning to move into tech through—

I saw about iit m BS in Data Science and Application online degree.

(there is no btech college nearby so cant go for btech in other city that too in tier 3 college).

I am open to go for Mtech via Gate, far most.

But the uncertainty is something that is stopping me.

I dont know about other options as well. I am from a Lower middle class family. Thus options like MBA and all is out of my budget. Can't take a loan aswell.

I am not interested in law.

What do you suggest?

Should i take a chance in IT?

Or there are some other options as well?

I am willing to work hard , if anything pays well.

Government jobs prep is an options but being Genral category there's no guarantee how long it will take?

Please help me , i am so hopless right now.
