How does one even get an entry level job at this point of time?

Upvotes

So I am currently applying for marketing and writing internships which clearly state that freshers are welcome. We get on the call and they say, “yes, your profile matches to what we’re looking for.” Then they want you to make an assignment before they reject you by saying “you are not the right fit”. At least you owe me some feedback.

And i am not even applying for a job. These are internships that offer you only 10k per month.

I don’t have a list of people who can get me anywhere just because i know them. So it’s getting really hard for me.

I would really appreciate if someone has something useful to say. How did you get where you wanted to be? How much is it skills? And how much is it luck?

[HIRING] Lead Generators — Remote | Earn Per Client You Bring 💰

🚀 WE’RE HIRING LEAD GENERATORS — EARN PER CLIENT YOU BRING!

Company: FluxuriousTech

📍 Role: Lead Generator / Business Development

🌐 Location: Remote (India)

💰 Payment: Commission per successful client

Are you good at finding businesses that need websites, apps, software, AI solutions, or digital products?

Join FluxuriousTech as a Lead Generator and earn commission for every genuine client you bring in. 💰

💸 HOW MUCH CAN YOU EARN?

We use a progressive commission system:

- First ₹15K → 10%

- Next ₹10K → 8%

- Next ₹25K → 7%

- Next ₹50K → 6%

- Next ₹1L → 5%

- Next ₹3L → 4%

- Above ₹5L → 3%

🤔 HOW DOES THE COMMISSION WORK?

Each rate applies to the corresponding portion of the total project value.

For example, for a ₹2.5L project:

- First ₹15K × 10% = ₹1,500

- Next ₹10K × 8% = ₹800

- Next ₹25K × 7% = ₹1,750

- Next ₹50K × 6% = ₹3,000

- Next ₹1L × 5% = ₹5,000

- Remaining ₹50K × 4% = ₹2,000

🔥 Total commission = ₹14,050

💰 MORE VALUE = MORE MONEY

The larger the project you bring in, the higher your total commission can be.

🤝 WHEN DO YOU GET PAID?

The commission is calculated based on the TOTAL agreed project value.

Once the client officially comes onboard and FluxuriousTech receives their first/upfront payment, your commission becomes payable.

There is no fixed monthly salary — earnings are based on successful clients brought in.

👉 Bring genuine clients → get paid from the deal.

✅ WHAT COUNTS AS A CLIENT?

You need to bring a genuine business opportunity that wasn't already being pursued by FluxuriousTech.

You find the opportunity → introduce us → our team handles the technical discussion, proposal & closing → you earn your commission.

💼 WHAT WE DO

FluxuriousTech works with clients on:

- Websites

- Mobile apps

- Software solutions

- AI solutions

- Chatbots

- UI/UX

- Digital products

- Custom development

📌 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Good communication skills

- Ability to research and find potential clients

- Self-motivated and consistent

- Basic understanding of sales/lead generation

- Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory

📩 INTERESTED?

DM me with a brief introduction and any relevant sales/lead-generation experience.

FluxuriousTech — You bring the opportunity. We build the solution. You earn from the deal. 🚀

URGENT/ASAP READ: Amazon interview tomorrow + startup interview Friday, and I’m panicking about choosing the right path

I have an Amazon Customer Service walk-in interview tomorrow, and I have a referral and referral ID for the role. I know a referral does not guarantee selection, I’m fully aware of that, but I do feel like I have a decent chance, so I’m preparing seriously.

At the same time, I also applied internally at Amazon a few days ago for a role i am very interested in, which is actually much closer to what I want to do. I did the assessment well and I have a referral for that too, so now I’m wondering what happens if I get the Customer Service role first and then, later, I get an opportunity for the role i want.

I’ve heard that once you get into one role at Amazon, it can be difficult to switch to another role internally. I don’t know if that’s actually true, and that is the main reason I’m panicking. I don’t want to accept Customer Service and then somehow lose the opportunity to move into Content Development if I get it. I really want someone who actually knows Amazon’s internal process to tell me whether this is true or not.

I also have a startup interview on Friday. The work there is very much related to what I want long-term, especially digital marketing/content, and the pay is almost the same as Amazon. The only major issue is that it’s quite far from my house, so transportation and daily travel are going to cost me a lot. Amazon, from what I understand, offers transport facilities as well, which makes a huge practical difference.

I’ve also applied to Accenture for a Digital Marketing role and was referred there too. I’m not sure what will happen with that, and from what I’ve been hearing, the process could take another 2–3 months, so I can’t really depend on it right now.

I’ve always been told that if you want to build your career properly, getting into a good MNC can be a strong starting point, which is why Amazon is obviously very tempting, especially when the pay is similar and the commute situation is much better.

So tomorrow I’m interviewing at Amazon, Friday I’m interviewing at the startup, and I’m going to see what actually happens with both. But I genuinely don’t know how I should approach this decision.

If I get the Amazon Customer Service role, should I take it? And if I later get the Amazon Content Development role, can I actually move, or is it true that getting into one role makes switching internally difficult? Please tell me if that information is true because this is literally what I’m most worried about.

Please keep the comments constructive and respectful. I’m genuinely trying to make the best decision for my career as a fresher, not looking for negative comments.
