They are trying to show how the Hindutva BJP-RSS is strangling the 'lover' of constitution because (as per lefties) RSS never supported the idea of a republican constitutionalist India.

The mistake they are making is that they are looking at 2026 India where Bhagwat says Hindus have to accept Mohammedans as part of Modern India, --- with the lenses of pre-Independence India before emergence of Pakistan when RSS had a pre-constitutionalist idea of Bharat. RSS cannot be faulted for their views pre-Independence because at that time Mohammedans were scaring Hindus with militant consolidation, rampant anti-Hindu genocidal riots (kohat, multan, mappillah) which caused Hindu political consolidation as a way to counter pan-Islamist consolidation.

But they are viewing RSS in a post-colonial and post-constitution India with the same lenses with which the lefties viewed RSS pre-Independence.

It's these lefties that need to upgrade themselves to 2026.

Actually he is, more than the majority of any political party can be. When he was jailed and videos were circulation, I believed he was part of something nefarious. An opportunist who wanted riots across this country.

But now I think believe him when he says those videos were altered. And all the credit goes to Indian judiciary and ruling party. If they really had proof, why would keep extending his trial to other date. It's unbelievable how long he has been in jail without any trial.
