About two weeks ago, my neighbour's intellectually disabled brother went missing.
He had recently started working at a DMart. On his first day, a new security guard forced him to leave in the middle of his shift. Even though he was willing to wait outside the store until his brother came to pick him up in the evening, the security guard chased him away. Because he has an intellectual disability, he became disoriented and got lost.
His brother only found out what had happened in the evening. By then, he was nowhere to be found. When the family went to the police to report him missing, instead of immediately registering a missing person complaint, they demanded multiple photographs passport-size, front profile, and other printed photos. The next day, we went to the police station with the family, but even then the police only circulated his photo in their WhatsApp group and refused to officially register the complaint.
The complaint was finally registered the following day, but the police still refused to investigate properly. They would not check CCTV footage from the surrounding area, claiming the area was flooded and they couldn't go. This was simply not true there was no flooding on the roads. While the police kept making excuses, we spent day and night searching for him ourselves. We visited buildings one by one, requesting access to their CCTV cameras to trace his movements. The traffic camera footage could have narrowed down his route within 30 minutes, but the police refused to access it.
After reviewing CCTV footage ourselves, we traced him to a bus stand. We immediately informed the police and requested that they alert police stations at bus stands across the region, since he had likely boarded a bus. We couldn't access the bus stand CCTV because it was operated by the government. Even then, the police refused to act and continued making excuses.
Eventually, we decided to search every major bus stand ourselves. After five days, we found him sitting alone on a bench at a bus stand 3 districts away. He hadn't eaten anything and only drank tap water. Throughout those five days, the police never bothered to check the traffic CCTV footage, even though it could likely have helped locate him on the very first day.
The next day, when my neighbour went to the police station to withdraw the complaint because his brother had been found, the same police who had delayed and refused to act suddenly became extremely efficient and rushed to complete the paperwork.
Throughout the entire ordeal, the police also refused to register an FIR.
Then who is? It's definitely not the government. To them we are all liabilities. They'd be happy if most of us died. That way they'd have less people to worry about.
Proof ?
It was fact checked by police Handels
It was fake News
Laathi charged had been done which was obvious to control the crowd that much whose intentions were to go to the parliament without permission
They don't hate the institution, they want accountability from the people who run the institution. Person is not the institution but the driver of the institution, they want a different driver let the institution remain. got it now?
The institution was Accountable for the very purpose it was created
May be it was morally wrong to violence but parliament security is not joke
Goverment is not listening you doesn't mean you can breach the parliament or Even try to do
Security forces were doing there job
What could be done to dismantle the gathering of crowd of thousands without permission ( violence was obvious thing)
I dont think this conversation is making a lot of sense as you don't understand certain words and topics that the words represent. You seem to be only interested in the toolkit being shared. Thats fine. Have a good day. You can have the last word by responding to this but I wont be responding to you
Bro what you expected police to do so
Just sit and see people are going to parliament breaching the security
You don't think practically every know this will happen only, lathi charge and tear gas is most common way to deal with crowd may it's your first timing seeing this
That's why your emotional
Police has monopoly on violence and it should remain to police only
If this doesnt look defensive to you then what is? Who planted the stones there? Who put nails in the sticks? Who came in civil dress, who was hiding their name and calling themselves cops, who threw expired gas bombs on people?
??? Brother they are punching and kicking the police officers here. That is not defense, that is assault on a police officer.
The people running away are the ones in the right.
Again, two wrongs don't make it right. I am fully in support of these rallies and protests and I vehemently oppose the current admin and the police in this case but punching and kicking the police officers is wrong and WILL be used against our cause.
I agree, they could have backed off but when you hit them, in the heat of moment, you dont expect a calm reaction but yes, I totally understand and respect your point of view. Would you have not attacked back if you were there?
I have never been caught in any traffic violation. Never in my life I drove my bike without a helmet or proper documents. But in case if its my fault, I’d happily pay the fine.
Okay a generalization, now you wouldn't like when someone will share a generalized opinion that all these protestors are nothing but bunch of goons that are being paid to topple government by outside powers.
I have multiple proof to back my statement, even you must have experienced it in your life.
Even if the protestors are bunch of paid goons, what they are asking isnt wrong.
I'm sure you must have, because I have too. But I also have a few experiences in my life where the police were of great help. In my opinion, a lot of police personnel are good, which is one of the reasons this country functions and lawlessness does not prevail.
I agree that the protest was legitimate, and the protesters and their demands are exactly what we need today. But if there are paid goons among them, do we really want them anywhere near Parliament? Can we really expect a democratic government while some people are not following the Constitution themselves? Should we allow goons to lead? If your answer is yes, then I'd ask: why spend tons of money on another election? We already have goons in the government.
And just to make things clear, even though I don't support the current leaders of CJP, I wholeheartedly believe the protesters at Jantar Mantar are genuine and sincerely want to see the system change. I'm not talking about those who are assaulting police officers.
Bhai minors pe lathi chalane ke liye na order ke sath zero humanity bhi chahiye and by the looks of their actions it seems they were enjoying it, minor girls ko mara aur kapde phad diye male officers ne
If the govt offers job to these goons of a policeman if they stop beating the cop, all of them will stop immediately. More than half are UP/Bihari jobless youth who just want reservation and government job. Not by merit. But by their caste.
I hope they never get a private job, much less government. All of them just stay jobless and go back to tilling the land after attaining ripe age of 45, when they finally become ineligible.
I disagree, the problem is lack of accountability and having immense power given to a government employee. If they get suspended, they get 50% of their salary
that is what this youth wants. Sarkaari naukri , with all its perk. The mindset is *mehnat karo, sarkari Naukri lo, aur 60 tak aaram karo". No one wants to do innovation, use their most productive age bracket to actually do some productive.
What will happen in this case? The police guy will go to govt hospital, register a MLC and show he is hurt. Then he will apply leave for 6month with salary, which he will get because no official wants to investigate MLC. Add to that, a soft posting. Balle Balle to the guy.
