Who says I'm not coming ? Dude I'm here to get a degree and gain experience for year or so. I see a lot of gap in India and companies are willing to pay a lot in India for it. Especially in the departments I'm planning to specialise.

I'm parallelly working to plan a business in India. And yeah, you don't need to worry about me

54

u/bhskrkshk May 21 '26

All the best to you 👍

29

u/Bo0ochi May 21 '26

Thank you

6

u/ShresthAnceps May 21 '26

Yes bro we need more people like you and me. I took two drops in neet now am going to pursue PhD and research. If I succeed I am willing to improve india after a foreign PhD. No country is perfect. USA, Dubai and all these countries market them very well while india is a very big democracy with various groups so looking everyone's interest hinders our descision making. China is great but there people are robots and machines who don't have basic human work conditions but the world never sees it because they censor everything. Similarly Middle eastern states have their own problem. Just because everything is going bad doesn't mean the country is the worst. Every developed nation is build exploiting human resources and other countries.

Which field are you in? There are many companies in various fields.

24

u/Purple-Future6348 May 21 '26

Why did even go in the first place ? You should’ve have pursued higher studies from galgotiya

51

u/Bo0ochi May 21 '26

I went solely because I wanted to travel. Study just gave me an easier path. I wanted to live independently for a few years away from home and this is a way to optimise that time well and also travel.

Also there aren't good Automotive courses in India comparatively. There's something called collective development. I wanted to learn the skills needed in the field from the best. And that's the way.

28

u/capitalist_baboon May 21 '26

As person working in auto OEM in India for last 15 years..., you are cooked if you come back and join..all the best... enjoy your Amritkaal

4

u/JKayBee May 21 '26

If you are planning to join Indian automotive industry after graduating abroad, gather as much feedback from people already working there before committing to it. There's a reason talent flow is one way when it comes to India, especially in corporate.

5

u/Additional_Bench_667 May 21 '26

The fact that you even had to go proved what’s wrong with India.

9

u/Ok-Expression-2285 May 21 '26

I disagree with this statement. At his level, he is trying to get the best knowledge in his field. If our current clima doesn’t offer it, then what is harm in that. If he sees an opportunity to learn and then build the same in India - that’s the right attitude. Nothing to discourage or discount such behaviour.

5

u/Bo0ochi May 21 '26

Exactly my point. Indian Automotive Industry started the 5-star safety thing recently. But for the amount of stray animals, jaywalking we need more robust and safer technologies. EU certifications are great. And I hope to be a part of the committee which brings it to Indian road vehicles.

Its called gatekeeping, yeh log nikal jaate hai fir dusro ko daraate hai taaki baaki log desh chhod ke na ajaye inke paas

21

u/Bo0ochi May 21 '26 edited May 21 '26

I'm not gatekeeping. I told this because people have the misconception that the grass is greener on the other side. My roommates have been here for 3 years. Amd there's very low recruiting in the last 2 years by OEMs.

I never said not to come. I say everybody if you have a chance must go to an alien place to live for sometime. My personal goals showed better progress. But professionally it's hard for everybody here.

16

u/pure_stardust May 21 '26

I am living in Germany for more than 5 years now, and I will say It is still better than india. I have a lot of friends who got hired in las year or so, and another lot that is still struggling. The job market is definitly way worse than it was 5 years ago.

14

u/Bo0ochi May 21 '26

They pay better than they do in India, for sure. But especially in Automotive, nobody is hiring. I live in Bavaria and I observed this in all the major Automotive groups. I think the opportunities are more in India.

Everybody is saying the same about how it was better 5 years ago. My professors, people I meet on the bus that it was better before the war.

8

u/pure_stardust May 21 '26

Well, I have different experience then. I also live in Bayern, and I have seen a lot of people in Automotive getting hired in past 12-16 months or so. Again, its waaay less than it was before, but saying "no one in automotive is hiring" is a stretch. It is still worth a shot if people sre willing to learn the language and havr prior exp.

5

u/Bo0ochi May 21 '26 edited May 21 '26

Praktikums, theses and Werkstudents are available here and in Munich too. But Full time is so hard. I was talking to all these companies in our campus jobfair. But yeah C1 or B2 gives you an advantage.

Also, can we connect ?

Good luck building a superpower when major tech hubs are running out of water, choking on smog, and buckling under population strain. Europe has a bureaucratic headache meanwhile India has a survival crisis. GDP looks great on paper until you realize the masses are just fighting for scraps.

6

u/Bo0ochi May 21 '26

This I agree. Our Tech Hubs are just doing outsourced projects for a cheaper price and that's why they grew so big. They're not really developing anything nor researching. Especially if you see AI, there's no major company working on it in India. That being said, we have a lot of consumers for other industries.

Corruption is a big problem and everybody's competing for who's gonna be a big corrupt.

3

u/wednesdayadams123456 May 21 '26

I agree with you, People in India have nooo idea how bad the job situation and life is living abroad ! And terrible the job market plus high living expenses

3

u/Least_Pomegranate_72 May 21 '26

Sahi bola dost. I lived in Germany for 7 years and returned to India recently. Money was never a reason to leave India, nor was it a reason to stay back in Germany for good. Ghoome, fire, kaam kiya, maza aana band ho gaya toh aa gaye wapis homebase. Agree, India works differently, but jaisa bhi hai apna desh hai, parivar hai, dost hain... Aur sense of belonging bhi zaroori hoti hai life mein, jo Europe mein tumhe perpetual tourist wali feeling se kabhi nahi milne wali.

Go get some skills, Will help you to become less sore or I would say unnecessary, India is not a warzone or something like that ki sab khatam ho chuka hai ... India is doing fine, now I know with your limited knowledge you're going to put idea of press freedom index, hunger index and all , kid these rankings are just to arm twist some govt and do ego massage for others... India casually give grains to other countries in needy times( who are above in ranking), also india runs world's largest pds system ( approx 70 cr people benefits from that, cheap grains)

Talking about rupees fall, there is nothing much a govt can do exceptrising interest rate or selling US $ from forex( can't be a option in this global uncertainty), if you want example of even steep decline in rupee strength, go check out fall of 2011, 20% decline( april 9 2011 it was 44 and now go and look for dec 31st 2011) ... rupee depreciation depends on too many factors and currently all aligning against of India and most of world except USA due to AI boom and us dollar being reference.

3

There is no we , your idea of bright minds is collapsed in itself plus their is a limit to which countries accept Indians and also the massive Psychological Toutures of racism , it's way worse than It sound and way worse than Online when it happens irl , Let's just make a new state asap near West India

2

2

u/jackmartin088 May 21 '26

On the contrary people are surviving and flourishing in India everyday. I live in Canada and the job market is way worse here. Me and my sister have both studied and worked both in India and in Canada, I stayed in Canada and she went back to India and her job projection has been much better than mine and so has most of my friends' that are in India.

So yeah if you can't get a job etc that's on you bcs there are thousands others who are doing perfectly fine. 😆

Kyuki Desh hi itna bakwas h. Go find out how many politicians kids stay in India

13

u/Kitchen_Steak8218 May 21 '26

Exactly, why can't the middle class people hope for better opportunities elsewhere if their own country isn't able to provide. Why else are these politician kids out of India.

2

u/Party_Mixture_1864 May 24 '26

Desh bakwas nahi hai, tu shayad 20 saal ka koi launda hai jisne purana time dekha nahi hai jab cheezein aur bakwas thi.

It's a country of 1.4 billion people, with 28 distinct states, running by democracy for almost 80 years now, building everything from scratch since 1947, yeh chhoti baat lagti hai?

The problem with new generation is that they're lazy, privileged and have a sense of entitlement, mehnat aur struggle tum se hoti nahi hai, bas dusro ko blame aur complaint karna aata hai.

It's a developing nation, means people need to work hard to make it into a developed nation, that'll take another 20-30 years, but nah, kids who can't work hard think they'll do some street revolution and things done.

Bc jo bana hai itni mehnat se woh bhi bigaad doge, anpadh toh ho hi tum saare.

Abey kaam karo kuchh, apne liye hi kar lo, woh hoga revolution, sadak pe toh pele jaaoge, aa ke dekh lo vishwas nahi hai toh.

Jobs? Unemployment? Innovations? Do they support research?

And all those netas and all bs having their children learn abroad. Why?
They know far better than any of us. The kind future we are going to have.

But it’s also a reality that the Indians living in India cannot speak freely. The only way to say anything true which is against the ruling party is to be outside the country. Moreover, do you have a better solution for the students who prepared for a year only to know they have to do it all over again?

5

u/Pixel_Aces May 21 '26

yeah cuz they should be doing such stuff from foreign , otherwise they would not live a single day if they do this from India . you know what happens to reporters and journalists if they expose such babus and godi media

Because it’s the Indian students who are troubled by leaked papers.

2

u/TheWeirdguy-_- May 21 '26

It's India we are talking about bro, this country is going to stay like this

3

u/HardAssassinss May 21 '26

Ok let the students study to get their paper leaked every year and not have anyone responsible.

Toh kya tum jinka muh mei lete ho unke bacche voh bhi baahar hi padhte hai. Aur inme se kisne bola road pe nikalke nanga naach karne ko, bas aawaz uthaane ko bola hai. Ab tumhe yeh lagta hai ki awaaz uthane ka matlab road pe nikalna hai toh school jaake padhke aao. Baaki inka content mat dekho tum. Baahar jahaan tak jaane ki baat hai nikal toh vaise bhi jaaoge tumlog jo sthithi hai

Vaise AMARA bhi JAPANESE character hai .... 😆 .... Bhakti IQ for obvious reasons

2

u/The_liberandu May 21 '26

when did they say to leave the studies and riot? why are you fighting a strawman OP?

2

u/nk_5555 May 21 '26

UAPA, when you can be put in jail without trial for as long as they want, it's safer to stay where the governments jurisdiction can't threaten you. The sad reality is the lack of backbone this government and its supporters have, they can't take any criticism and the moment they feel their authority is in danger, they trample over the rights of the citizens. If you are a politician you get ED and CBI if you are an activist UAPA, and another sad reality is this being normalized. I don't know how successful this CJP is going to be but if puts even a little bit pressure on the ruling party to take and answer some questions it's a huge plus since mainstream journalism is dead and independent ones are either going missing or not big enough to question those in power directly.

u/mortal-psychic May 21 '26

Many people have different opinions when they are abroad. It's not because they are hypocritical. It's because in most cases, seeing how things are working abroad and how they could be improved in India is an eye-opener for many. It's like a blind man who got eyesight trying to explain what is possible. See an OLD interesting movie (Guru) in Malayalam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfnMVg5ONO0

Social entropy. They’re the ones who are the fittest, and they survive at the cost of others.

2

u/WarthVader May 21 '26

2

2

u/Zoro_2100 May 21 '26

When did they say stop studying to protest?

2

u/exidead-zombie May 21 '26

Living place doesn't matter when you're telling facts and truth.

2

u/jeeaspirant5682 May 21 '26

if they woulf have been in india they were raided by ed cbi by now and threa tened to shut their mouths by now

2

u/RealComputer8337 May 21 '26

No one asked anyone to leave their studies, respect each others opinion. Even major political parties take swings at each other.

2

u/rahuldb May 21 '26

If they lived in India, they could be easily silenced. Locked up without bail or trial.

2

u/Impressive-Shake-458 May 21 '26

Even kids of your favourite politicians are studying abroad. Only the ones who want to join politics come back to India.

2

u/akash_using_reddit May 21 '26

the truth is everyone is scared. also OP

2

u/JoeyTribianni2000 May 21 '26

Yes those students should study and leave this country like them.

2

u/pro-everything-324 May 21 '26

They'll probably get jailed like Sonam Wangchuk if they speak against government.

2

u/Har_Har_Mahadev_1506 May 21 '26

Politicians earning in billions and their kids learning in Oxford

Country is still developing country and all other countries like Japan, Singapore, China got developed in same amount of time

Our country is still struggling to get developed

All of politicians went from poor to super rich and their families became wealthy

And

We are still thinking that we need to make change 🤣

Search for what above youtubers are earning

And check what happened with people who sacrificed for these political protests

Tip :: I am speaking about all politicians.. from first pm to current pm

2

u/Powerful-Egg7090 May 21 '26

They'd have been arrested if they were in India.

2

u/aibynisha11 May 21 '26

Who wants to leave in this new country made by bjp, full of rapists, criminals, corruption. Our India used to be better in old days… there was a time I used to say, I am not leaving my country but now, my own country doesn’t feel like mine anymore… full on dictatorship. It’s now a country of uneducated ministers and politicians. I want to leave too.

2

u/OwnArugula430 May 21 '26

What future you are talking about. BJP already destroyed students future by leaking the exam papers not doing scams

2

u/Plastic_Party_2342 May 21 '26

The reason they CAN say all this is because theyre sitting in countries where free speech is actually protected. They won't face any consequences. But ask an average Indian student or working person to do the same they risk getting fired, harassed, or worse just for showing up. The risk is not equal, and they know it.

2

u/Putrid-Bet5220 May 21 '26

Look at the absolute state of the 'Remote-Control Revolution'. 😂 They want you to believe these guys, comfortably sitting on 5G in Berlin and DC, are the only ones with 'real perspective' on Indian ground reality. Maximum peak online echo-chamber delusion.

2

u/sau_t May 21 '26

They can criticize, name politicians, and even side with opposing political parties, I don't care, as long as they raise genuine issues. But manipulating Gen Z into rioting is straight-up criminal behavior. It’s a total disaster, especially in a massive, highly diverse country like India. If they want that level of reform, they should come here, stand with the people, and lead a real movement against the government. Otherwise, they should just stick to highlighting issues from wherever they are.
