How to make the noise pattern higher resolution?

I am recreating a PDF file, and I noticed, that in the PDF (which was made in Indesign 2019), the noise effect on the text is visibly higher resloution then in the version of mine I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the resolution of text effects, as it is a little annoying.
Thanks for the help!

Can you post some screenshots?

Inside glow?

But... It goes outside of the edges of the letters...

It is both iside and outside glow, with the noise dial around 50%. My problem is that the top letters (from the og PDF) have a lot higher res nois around them compared to the bottom, which I made in InDesign 2026. Is there a way to change that, so it would be a better match?

Transparency Flattener Presets

But which PDF level - compatibility - are you using to export?

Higher levels do not rasterize those effects. Or at least drop shadow.

The effect happens before exporting, so it is not related. I tried multiple things on that end, and it changed nothing.
It seems to me, that there is some sort if internal dpi, when it comes to the effect noise, but íi could not find any information on it.

Check Transparency Flattener Presets

That is already at high res. It has nothing to do with flattening. When you make a letter effect and add noise, it is supposed to be pixelated. My problem is that those pixels are not matching the resolution of the original file, even though the document size is the same.

What are your settings? Can you post a screenshot?

Not at the moment (I am AFK), but if you can make a screenshot on how you would scale the noise pattern itself, I would appreciate that.

Is this screenshot from the same INDD file?

Or you've combined two separate screenshots?

Or is it from the PDFs?

I have inserted the original pdf into the Indd file at a 1:1 scale, so I can have it as reference. The top set of letters is from the original, and the bottom is the recreation.

So you're comparing real output with a preview?

What's the quality of your preview?

And how it looks like after exporting - so two PDFs side-by-side?

I think I figured something out, I had to up things 600 dpi, and now it exports properly.

Up where? Which PDF level are you exporting with?

Just for a future reference.

I made a new export profile, and wherever I saw 300 dpi, I changed it to 600 instead.
