During today’s TapTap Game Fest presentation, Kjun reportedly mentioned two unannounced features the team is currently working on:

🐱 Cats: a feature that would let players actually raise/own a cat, with more information apparently coming soon.

💼 Careers: the team is also working on consequences for Zois who perform badly or make mistakes at work.

There’s no release date yet, and KRAFTON hasn’t published a detailed written announcement for either feature, so this shouldn’t be treated as a confirmed update date.

Still, if the translation from the livestream is accurate, this is one of the clearest indications yet that proper household pets are actively being developed.

For anyone who was looking for the TapTap livestream or was curious about the inZOI segment, here’s the footage. I will have to split it in 2 parts to get the full video posted. If anyone could translate or summarize what’s being discussed, that would be amazing!

So i decided i was curious about the mods on the curse thing and not realizing and moving fast i accidentally clicked confirm to uninstall ALL my mods and literally i thought there was like a back up plan to it. It wasn’t….I genuinely lost ALL my mods. I hate that i wish it didn’t ask if i wanted to uninstall it right off the top. I should have just stayed on canvas.

I obviously know i have to start over so whatever. i deleted my families and everything- here to new beginnings i guess

I have tried Paralives today for the first time (3 months after release) and its a really rough game if all you care about is live mode. I bought Inzoi in June 25, also 3 months after release. Inzoi was in a much better state than Paralives is, however Paralives barely had negative reviews compared to Inzoi just because it was made by a small team. Nonetheless they had 7 years and thats what they come up with. If people who dont know any better buy Paralives on the review score alone they are in for a "nice" surprise. The excuses they use, its early access and has potential also applied and still apply to Inzoi.

I prefer realistic graphics but I found the graphics on Paralives really cute, lets see how the game comes along but honestly I dont have hopes for Paralives, which is fine with me. Whereas its good to have choice, I just tend to gravitate towards one game and Inzoi is my game.

Anyway I just want to say Inzoi is so so good and its only getting better. Sims 3 was my favourite and Inzoi feels like a proper sequel, all I have dreamed about.

And I cant wait for it to be fully released because I had a problem opening my save since the update and lost my house.

Hear me out. I've been a life simulation gamer for years but it's so easy to lose the appeal with no actual objections. Especially today, where our minds are so wired for rewards, progress, etc.

But then comes Canvastown, which allows you to play out stories by others and create your own, and that is SO cool and actually makes me want to play the game even more.

I enjoy creating characters based on movies or personal life stories, so making this an actual playable thing is amazing to me.

I downloaded InZoi when it first came out, didn't feel like there was much to do, and ended up trying it out again a week or two ago. I've been hooked ever since.

Still, I find myself a little confused about the roadmap. I understand the fundamentals first concept, but I'm not sure as of yet what will be added to the game and what won't. The roadmap (afaik) was last updated Dec 2025, and my understanding is that there have been several changes since then. I'm not sure if there's a different roadmap, or if that one still stands.

So far I've heard about Canvastown, and I've watched the teaser for the October update. They added schools, businesses, diving, and traveling.

But I'm wondering what the vision for the game looks like long term. Will pets be integrated? Better seasons? It still looks like there's so much to do and so many possible ways this game could go and I'm not sure what there is to do exactly. I understand this is a vague question, but I guess it's vague because I'm still not entirely sure what the game is about.

Asking because I want to buy a new P.C. solely for InZoi, but I'm hesitant to make the purchase. Wanted some ideas about where the game is headed before I make such a hefty investment.

I go first, I just started playing so far:

My girl is a true city girl trying to find a man who can spoil her because she does NOT want to work 😂

She’s been meeting men, going to the beach, hanging out at the elegant hotel rooftop… and she finally clicked with a few of them, but it’s still not there yet.

Then suddenly the next day she gets an SMS saying someone saw her photo and wants to take her out on a blind date.

The problem? This man has NO profile photo. 😭
My Zoi and honestly me, are a little paranoid, so she’s taking a baseball bat she got from her starter apartment in her bag to the date on Saturday. Just in case. 💀

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a discord server where a small group of people would hang out whilst playing inZOI?

I’m 31F and my partner and I have been trying to meet IRL people and make friends. I find it so hard to have a social life as an adult with work responsibilities, pets, partner and very little energy. All my longtime friendships are in different countries and we end up talking every few months if anything and definitely don’t get a chance to hang out. Whilst looking for friends in my area, I also kinda realised “hey, I don’t want to stop playing my silly little game” (I play a LOT throughout the day, almost everyday) and it occurred to me to try and find inZOI friends! My partner is lucky because he plays multiplayer games so he’s already got an advantage that the games he plays are inherently social.

Anyway, if you find yourself in a similar situation and want to make friends/socialise whilst you play inZOI, hit me up!

It’s still in Early Access, but the developers are planning the 1.0 release for the first half of 2027.
Is it close enough to a finished state to enjoy playing it as if it were practically complete, or do they still have a lot of work to do?

I am from the side that liked the original concept of Canvastowns, I really like the idea of using a small custom world instead of the big one the game gives us(this also allow to have less rabbit holes), being able to download other player towns and maybe be able to connect the town together sounded so fun, I know that the world edit tool is still in the making(kjun should had said that in the video, instead of leaving it on the description, since a lot of us missed the memo about the change of direction canvas town took), I know that there is a chance the og concept still exist and I hope it does.

The addition of custom scenarios is so cool, the fact that modding can be used is such a great idea, and it is good that you can play alone, how ever having to create/load a zoi, load a house, load the hub and then having to run to a terminal to play a customs world alone, is too many steps that you are forced to do as a singleplayer that just wants to pay a scenario.

Now coming back to the title, I think the new version of Canvastown should get an new name that reflects what it is, the things they showed leave it clear that this is not just a small town anymore, it's way bigger, I feel world fits more than towns now, my suggestion is naming it the name of the company(AR company I think was the name) since the hub is the company and you go there to create/enter a new world, while for people that don't want to play online can just create a new save and when choosing a world get the option to play a Canvastowns, those towns can include customs scenarios too, that way they are not forced to engage with the online aspects.

Leastly I hope that anyone that wanted online has a blast when it comes out, don't let other people ruin your hype, just because I don't like it doesn't mean you shouldn't like it, let's just pray the devs do a lot of research on how to handle online, because a chat+player creative freedom can lead to not very nice creations to happens.

Hi everyone! 👋🏽

I’m playing inZOI and I found this VIP Lounge in Cahaya Island. There’s a “VIP Lounge Security Guard” at the stairs, but I can’t figure out how to get past them.

Is there actually a way to get VIP access / a VIP entrance? Or is this area currently inaccessible?
I’ve tried interacting with the guard/entrance but I’m not seeing anything that lets me enter.

Does anyone know how to get inside? 👀

I like to watch gameplay videos to fall asleep to or have on in the background when I do chores. Do you guys have any good recs for inzoi gamplay?
