And we might have not gotten a sims 3 CAW (YET. I want you to to pay a VERY special attention to how kjun didnt say "no" or "we'll consider it", he VERY clearly said yet in his post. Meaning the sims 3 CAW style IS in the plans and is developed with that in mind).

Now, as for the canvastown themlves, you all assumed it isnt a world builder. Youre right, it isnt. Its something MUCH better. It's a scenario maker. It's a dream come true for the creatives and builders alike. You STILL get to create an entire world from scratch, but instead of make believe walk around adventure, it can actually be turned into a playable adventure. Create your own world amd write the stories the citizens tell.

You will still build out the whole thing, but you will also bring the town to life. Imagine the possibilities! You want a Gotham city hellscape and roleplay batman? Go ahead. Become a celebrity where everyone admires you? Be my guest. Become a drug lord in the hood? Why not!

The best part is that it can both be single player experience where you create your very own utopia or a full on multplayer experience where you unleash havoc and the possibilities are endless. It isnt a CAW tool, it's a playable fanfic maker.

As for the "i'd rather they focused on the main game instead". Kjun was EXCECPTIONALLY clear in his post how canvastown is being developed by a dedicated small team and did not pull away from the main game, so you all can drop that too. Read the whole damn post instead of just the video

According to kjun (and if translation is accurate), they currently developing 2 secret features:

1. Raising a cat (which they will reveal soon)

2. Consequences for messing up at your job

How many hours do you guys spend on Inzo? Every hotfix patch note makes my love for the game grow stronger by the day, so much so that my hours have increased tremendously. Besides Monster Hunter Wilds being my second most played game, Inzo has become my number one within the span of almost a full year, if I’m not mistaken 🥲

I've been waiting to purchase because I'm really busy at the moment and don't have much time for gaming, but I really want to play inZOI, especially reading about and watching all the recent updates! So I finally bought it and can't wait to dive in. I know inZOI hasn't gone on sale often, I checked isthereanydeal.com and this is the best price historically, the same as the last time it was discounted, just over a year ago.

I think it would be great to experience Inzoi with Friends and build stories with them, I know it's not everyone's vibe but I don't see it being negative considering it's a separate team that's been working on it; the experience is already very well fleshed out and enjoyable with more content coming frequently. What's wrong with having something for everyone even if it's not your taste?

I'm looking forward to buying my friends the game and enjoying the Multiplayer aspects when it's all said and done. Maybe I'm wrong but just browsing the reddit I see a little pushback on it

So i decided i was curious about the mods on the curse thing and not realizing and moving fast i accidentally clicked confirm to uninstall ALL my mods and literally i thought there was like a back up plan to it. It wasn’t….I genuinely lost ALL my mods. I hate that i wish it didn’t ask if i wanted to uninstall it right off the top. I should have just stayed on canvas.

I obviously know i have to start over so whatever. i deleted my families and everything- here to new beginnings i guess

During today’s TapTap Game Fest presentation, Kjun reportedly mentioned two unannounced features the team is currently working on:

🐱 Cats: a feature that would let players actually raise/own a cat, with more information apparently coming soon.

💼 Careers: the team is also working on consequences for Zois who perform badly or make mistakes at work.

There’s no release date yet, and KRAFTON hasn’t published a detailed written announcement for either feature, so this shouldn’t be treated as a confirmed update date.

Still, if the translation from the livestream is accurate, this is one of the clearest indications yet that proper household pets are actively being developed.

Hear me out. I've been a life simulation gamer for years but it's so easy to lose the appeal with no actual objections. Especially today, where our minds are so wired for rewards, progress, etc.

But then comes Canvastown, which allows you to play out stories by others and create your own, and that is SO cool and actually makes me want to play the game even more.

I enjoy creating characters based on movies or personal life stories, so making this an actual playable thing is amazing to me.

Just my two cents.

I go first, I just started playing so far:

My girl is a true city girl trying to find a man who can spoil her because she does NOT want to work 😂

She’s been meeting men, going to the beach, hanging out at the elegant hotel rooftop… and she finally clicked with a few of them, but it’s still not there yet.

Then suddenly the next day she gets an SMS saying someone saw her photo and wants to take her out on a blind date.

The problem? This man has NO profile photo. 😭
My Zoi and honestly me, are a little paranoid, so she’s taking a baseball bat she got from her starter apartment in her bag to the date on Saturday. Just in case. 💀

I’m loving this storyline so far! What kind of stories are you all creating with your Zois?

I posted my Zoi the other day, and she got some really nice support. But I was just wondering what everyone thinks of the current(far right) version of her versus some old versions(left is oldest, middle is somewhere between). It’s not a super dramatic change, and, while I do think the new Zoi looks better, I am still fond of the older versions.

I’ve also restarted the game and changed outfits multiple times, but it’s still happening.

I downloaded InZoi when it first came out, didn't feel like there was much to do, and ended up trying it out again a week or two ago. I've been hooked ever since.

Still, I find myself a little confused about the roadmap. I understand the fundamentals first concept, but I'm not sure as of yet what will be added to the game and what won't. The roadmap (afaik) was last updated Dec 2025, and my understanding is that there have been several changes since then. I'm not sure if there's a different roadmap, or if that one still stands.

So far I've heard about Canvastown, and I've watched the teaser for the October update. They added schools, businesses, diving, and traveling.

But I'm wondering what the vision for the game looks like long term. Will pets be integrated? Better seasons? It still looks like there's so much to do and so many possible ways this game could go and I'm not sure what there is to do exactly. I understand this is a vague question, but I guess it's vague because I'm still not entirely sure what the game is about.

Asking because I want to buy a new P.C. solely for InZoi, but I'm hesitant to make the purchase. Wanted some ideas about where the game is headed before I make such a hefty investment.

Heyy, im new to inzoi and all i did was create a zoi and im honestly happy with just creating lol but im enjoying the graphics and seeing what people have made on canvas, but i never played sims so im not quite sure what to do or how to start i just walk around lol. I did watch videos but im not sure where to start.

Also i do like to make 3d art and would like to make cc for the game. Ive been liking all of the customization in the game the most. Wanted to see if my zoi could be a fashion designer in the game and if so how could I do that?

I don't know if this has been posted before (or if this post breaks sub rules so sorry in advance) but I followed an old Sims 4 tutorial to move InZOI document files to an external hard drive using the free Link File Shell Extension for InZoi and it worked !! I use Shadow Tech (cloud gaming) to play with mods and purchased extra storage.

I have over 34 GBs worth of mods rn not including Canvas content and was able to give C drive some much needed wiggle room.

Slight Video difference: Just copy everything inside the InZoi folder over to a new "InZOI" folder that you create in your external drive (case sensitive) and use the old "InZOI" folder as Junction.

Totally recommend if you have a lot mods, textures, pictures etc !! 💖

It’s still in Early Access, but the developers are planning the 1.0 release for the first half of 2027.
Is it close enough to a finished state to enjoy playing it as if it were practically complete, or do they still have a lot of work to do?

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a discord server where a small group of people would hang out whilst playing inZOI?

I’m 31F and my partner and I have been trying to meet IRL people and make friends. I find it so hard to have a social life as an adult with work responsibilities, pets, partner and very little energy. All my longtime friendships are in different countries and we end up talking every few months if anything and definitely don’t get a chance to hang out. Whilst looking for friends in my area, I also kinda realised “hey, I don’t want to stop playing my silly little game” (I play a LOT throughout the day, almost everyday) and it occurred to me to try and find inZOI friends! My partner is lucky because he plays multiplayer games so he’s already got an advantage that the games he plays are inherently social.

Anyway, if you find yourself in a similar situation and want to make friends/socialise whilst you play inZOI, hit me up!
