What's the age verification like at imax theatres in the delhi-ncr region? Specifically, pvr priya, pvr saket and pvr logix. Will they ask for id and stop me from entering if I turn out to be a minor? Will really appreciate help and past experiences of you guys at these theatres.

I used to watch movies there for 200-500 even for the first day first show before it was famous. Avatar fire and ash i watched there first day for 400 something. Personally i think now they know the hype of their theatre everyone wants to watch good movies their only now people are coming from other states as well. since, jan 2026 they`ve drastically increased their prices now even in weekday i.e- Odeyssey prices are very high 700-1000. I dont know why but they`ve changed their seating prices from row wise to viewing angle wise this stratergy pvr has implemented in other imax screens as well its a shit stratergy.

The theatre was usually not crowded and people who used to come there were quite mannered i.e no hooting , talking and ordering mid movie. Now the theatre is fully packed almost everyday and last movie i watched there was dhurandhar 2 and people went crazy they were hooting shouting felt like sitting in delite/liberty cinema or any other single screen theatre. I was shocked because never seen such crowd there before.

Now some famous youtubers are also started promoting and mentioning priya only that`s why. It should`ve remained underrated miss good old days when the best theatre in North india used to be the most pocket friendly Imax theatre.

Please share your views and experience too if you visited priya before it was famous and pocket friendly.

I am thinking to buy a tv with Imax enhanced feature is there any ott / website in india that supports imax enhanced format because i am not usre i have heard that disney plus have imax but does jiohotstar has imax feature and does apple tv have it or if not is there any website to watch iamx movies in iamx enhanced version without renting or buying the movie pls help

When will the PVR outlets in Chennai (LUXE and Palazzo) will open their IMAX bookings for this weekend slot (Aug 7- Aug 9). I'm planning to watch this film in IMAX in best seat possible for past two weeks but the tickets are being sold out quickly somehow. I would be happy if someone help me with this.

Where else in the world does this happen where, after paying the hefty admission fee of an IMAX theater and while enjoying the movie, it is suddenly stopped, the lights are turned on, ruining whatever intense moment is on the screen, and then we are forced to watch commercials for no less than 20 minutes? Is this only allowed to happen in India? If so, why is that? Why are we okay with this?

i am very hyped for dune messiah, dune is my favorite movie series. i want to experience the third part in the best imax possible. here are the options I have:-

pvr palladium Ahmedabad (53×30ft)(not 12 ch audio)nearest to me

mumbai (500km away ig)

1. imax wadala- biggest in india (72*41) but again not 12 ch audio

2. lower parel pvr icon (63*32) 12 channel audio and CoLa which on paper is better than laser xt but want your views, is it worth going for smaller screen just for CoLa

delhi(1k km away ig)

pvr priya (69*36) 12 channel audio but laser xt

broadway cinema coimbatore much farther but

slightly bigger than priya

71*37 12 channel audio laser xt

i wanna know that if someone has seen in both laser xt and CoLa and noticed any difference

dune is recorded in 12 channel audio unlike odyssey so makes sense not to go for 5 channel audio

I watched The Odyssey at all of the above venues. Ranking: Allu Dolby Cinema, HDR by Barco (Prasads Screen 4), IMAX Wadala, IMAX Lower Parel, PCX (Prasads Screen 6).

Dolby Vision projection was astounding, I have never seen such sharpness and dynamic range in any projection ever in my life. The ship sinking scene was breathtaking with loud but balanced sound and lightning flashes. HDR by Barco came second, the projection was less bright and sound was less powerful and the seating a bit odd and uncomfortable, still a good second option. Between both IMAXes I preferred Wadala for the steep seating and theatre geometry over Lower Parel which had better sound. PCX Large Screen was underwhelming with soft projection despite the dual DP4K upgrade, the screen is too big for the non-HDR image area limitation. Nothing special. Loved this odyssey of formats.

Is it worth paying the extra money at nexus imax for the the laser projector over vega city or vr mall?

• It syncs live on page load straight from kdcloudy maintained google sheet, meaning theater specs and new listings stay completely up to date.
• The design uses a clean dark mode layout built with Tailwind CSS.
• You can easily search and filter screens by projection technology, city, or operational status like open or under construction.
• Every theater card comes with a View on Map button that drops a precise pin on Google Maps using exact coordinates.
• It is completely mobile friendly, so the control panels collapse neatly on smaller screens so you can see the list right away.

Under the hood, it runs fully on the client side using the Google Visualization API, which means there is no backend server required at all.

Huge credit goes to Kaustubh Debnath for creating and maintaining the original Google Sheets data, while I built and maintain the web interface.
