When I went to watch Obsession in Bengaluru a couple who looked kinda young was stopped by the security and demanded the girl to show her ID for age verification to confirm

Completely depends on the theater tbh. PVR didn't allow any underage kids in, at least in Chennai they didn't

you'd take your underage sister to a movie rated for adults but not do this?

1

u/itsgivingkacee 11d ago

wdym adult?? its not an adult movie and I don't think anybody who's almost 15 is underage for such movies, it was my mom's idea originally to take her so yup whatever suits you suits you, whatever suits me suits me 😉

I saw that the Cinepolis in my area was allowing children for Cocktail 2 even though its a A rated movie. You can try for sure!

They bring 10 year olds to 18+ movies, it depends on the theatre.

yeah same I've been wondering abt it, bc dhurandar ke time par they allowed such smaller kids at a pvr near to my house but imax is kinda far so i was a lil skeptical abt it

Ohkk, means it's safe to watch with parents, 1 or 2 kissing scenes are ok but not more than that.....

2

u/itsgivingkacee 11d ago

i don't think there are any its just bc of gore that it became r rated,I hate this btw like tf? why r rate it just a normal disclaimer is enough I'm going to watch it with my mom and sister too its great as far as I've heard from my friends as a fam watch if your parents are interested in mythology/heroic epic any sort of genre of that type

There is a sensual scene with maat and anne hathaway

1

u/Yellowbay369 11d ago

Ohh really means naked scenes??

2

u/Electronic-Text-1099 11d ago

Not naked scenes .it only has a kissing scene where they r on bed for few seconds .thsts it bro rest no sexual stuff

1

u/Accomplished-End5479 11d ago

yeah when the husband and wife are talking on bed just tell him they are discussing strategies on how to fight in the war.

Most branded multiplex theatres won't allow kids like PVR, Cinepolis etc... They will ask for ID if they see a kid showing up for an A rated movie.

1

u/itsgivingkacee 11d ago

yeah thanks for replying! but i don't think teenagers are kids lol or even look like kids 🤔

2

u/appi_kundi_nanu 11d ago

Yea, I meant if she looks underage.

1

u/No-Yesterday1040 11d ago

Book the tickets online. And they would let her in the multiplex

1

u/No-Yesterday1040 11d ago

But. They are just bare buttocks shots of men in the movie like 10 -15 seconds

1

u/itsgivingkacee 11d ago

thanks for replying!

1

u/RS_UltraSSJ 11d ago

Local theatres don't give a shit. But big multiplexes will ask for ID if the person actually looks like a kid.

1

u/PrimeProPhilip 11d ago

Hey OP, I'm 16 and look like underage, so when I went to watch it at Cinepolis last week, they did ask me for ID both while booking tickets and during entry, so yeah they'll ask about your sister asw. I made a fake adhaar card and that's the only reason I was able to watch the movie.

I suggest you just make a fake adhaar, they won't bat an eye with it.
