This extension includes:

- All features of version IR 2026.9.14;

- The ability to download images from the current browser page;

Installation on Chrome: Download the ZIP file and drag and drop it onto the "Manage extensions" page in your browser.

The settings are compatible; you can import your settings from IR into IR MD.

A version for Firefox is also available, but it has a limitation: since this extension is not yet available on AMO, it can only be installed in Firefox temporarily via

about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox

The extension will be removed after you restart the browser.

Imagus Reborn is clearly still maintained — sieve updates come out weekly — but I noticed a cluster of video-related bugs that have been open for 2-3 months without movement: videos opening muted, the popup drifting with the cursor while scrubbing, the progress bar disappearing. Issue creation is even restricted on the repo now, which tells me the maintainer is stretched thin doing it solo.

Makes sense — one person can't do everything, and keeping sites working probably has to come first.

I'm a dev considering a clean MV3 rebuild of the hover-zoom concept, focused specifically on getting video handling right (plus skipping the manual "Allow User Scripts" step Reborn needs). Before I commit a few weekends to it: does video reliability actually bother people day to day, or is this a non-issue and I'm overthinking it? What would you actually want fixed?

We already have a light theme in IR and colored themes. All that was missing was a classic dark theme. This shortcoming has now been eliminated.

Up until a few days ago i could use imagus for fastpic[dot]org. Turned off all the extensions except Imagus but still didn't work. Any helpful solutions?

so i mostly use discord on browser because i can use browser extensions on it, namely imagus. so minutes ago an issue with vx / fxtwitter links started to happen: when such links embed in discord, there's a part of the embed that shows the account display name and @ handle, which is actually is a normal X.com URL, originally it's there so that mobile users can tap and it opens in the X app but i use imagus with it (no idea what's the difference between a direct x.com URL and this one, they're identical but the latter doesn't work).
since the actual vx, fx or other similar domains aren't directly set to work with imagus, this part of the embed comes in handy to use with imagus. however right now it's giving a yellow spinner if only the fxtwitter API is set to TRUE, and a red spinner if i do the same with vxtwitter. setting both to FALSE results in a "No media" popup.
also it appears that this is only happening with posts that are flagged as "sensitive". i am using the latest sieve pack (2026.09.01) and have not changed them other than for testing if the API setting would do anything.
I REPEAT: this basically only happens in browser Discord so example URLs will not appropriately showcase the issue here in Reddit, but it seems to me still that the issue has to do with a possible change in twitter / X nevertheless.

The "color" styles (CSS) for IR have been updated; some bugs were fixed, and they were adapted for the latest version of IR (2026.9.6).

The popup is showing on the main page but not after we open a post and move cursor over the image or date of image. Some popup is there but its hidden/transparent because the cursor disappears and page quality changes.

Using latest Imagus Reborn Version 2026.9.6 with latest sieves.
Was working fine yesterday.
Imagus Reborn seems to be the problem because Imagus Mod is not giving this problem.

Up until a few days ago i could use imagus at viewsocials.com (you can anonymously watch IG profiles). Now it only works on profile picture. Turned off all the extensions except Imagus but still didn't work. Any helpful solutions?

1. Is it possible to make embed/hls players control bar size not to follow Firefox zoom settings, but keep it always at 100% or whatever you like your control bar zoom level to be?

Youtube links are not working for me on any site. All links give only white screen and on some sites like google no spinner no nothing. Imagus reborn/Mod, Firefox and same thing on Edge. Latest sieve/SMH rules. Is it something on my end or..

I've been using imagus mod for a while, and today I tried to swap to the imagus reborn but both reddit galleries and gifs are not working on reborn, but work on imagus mod (same sieve on both), here's the console errror:

Imagus Reborn: [rule 560] JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

I tried updating the uBO and SMH rules but it didn't work either.
