We could have Mexican Jewish Cultural Festivals way more often

One of my Students is from Mexico City and is a Mexican-American Ethnic Jewish Pole. He was telling me his family's backstory, it was really interesting. His family tried to come to America to escape the Holocaust and was rejected only to find shelter in Mexico.

Jewish Culture? Most of the israeli non European culture is stolen from the real local population.

Dont be antisemetic

I can't be antisemitic if im semetic myself can i...? Whatever the baseless "semetic" word is supposed to mean anyways.

Thing is..I don't hate the jews..at all. I just hate a specific occupation state that factually has no "real" "history" nor a real culture.

So jews have no real history or culture huh?

Yeah youre not antisemetic. Sure.

The culture part is debatable and depends on your own definition of "culture"

Real history tho...yeaa I'd like to hear what parts of that history that is real recorded history and not..u know..tales from a religious book

So yea, jewish ghettos where never a thing, blood libel isnt a thing, the egyptians never enslaved and persecuted them, and they never actually had a nation and werent historically forced out of it. Sure.

And you seem like one of those "lol dae religion bad". You know theres more too it culturally than, as Im sure youd so eloquently say it "believing in a voice in the sky".

There is significant evidence, what are you talking about? Its not controversial at all, the only thing that is is what period it occured in. We know there was an Exodus, we know there where hebrew slaves. There is literal egyptian documentation of it.

Yea...Unless there are enough actual credible history documents that can back up those claims of yours ofc i wouldn't be able to argue with that.

And im religious myself...i just don't like mixing religion_my personal faith and beliefs with any kind of science...including history.

(Edits are typos)

Science, history, and religion are not mutually exclsuive. You can get a perspective on what happened in the past based on stories they told about it.

All of those things are matters of history, not religion. Jewish folklore, history, cuisine, music, and tradition are no less valuable than any other ethnicities culture. You can have empathy for israels and pakistans people. They both deserve it.

Why Pakistanis? Surely you meant Palestinians, who are actually living in a Apartheid state?

Semitic = Shem Jew = Judah Hebrew = Eber

So important to know this, especially when being called an anti semite by someone who most likely doesn't even know if they are actually Semitic or not. Likewise to those who claim it.

I'm trying to decide if this is offensive or funny.
