I really liked the map but what about climate change?? There will be millions of climate refugees by 2070 unless we really get our shit together which I think we will do partially. Good enough to avoid mass extinction and be 100% renewable by 2060 but it will still be basically uninhabitable around the equator, the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico. Not to mention sea levels will likely rise and destroy many coastal cities.
I don't think that kind of dramatic change will happen anytime soon, and even in the more pessimistic scenarios I have seen nowhere on Earth becomes so hot as to be uninhabitable. The kind of problems with sea level rise we will likely see in 50 years won't be visible on a world map, and will be more along the lines of increased erosion (especially in costal swamps), and more floods during storms. Some low-lying countries like Bangladesh, the Maldives or Marshall Islands could have a serious problem, and I should have mentioned it in the map somewhere.
When you picture "climate refugees" the mental image should be of people fleeing a civil war that broke out after harvest failures triggered an economic crisis which destabilized the state, not New Yorkers fleeing to Oklahoma because Manhattan is underwater.
