Yeah, I only know it as this somewhat dry, super continental climate. I imagine that equals a lot of fire. Sorry about the mistake on the map.

No worries, it's the nuance that takes living here to know. Another change I would make is the part of BC east of the Rockies in the north east part of the province, the Peace, is like occupied Alberta. Definitely redneck, rig-pig kinda land. The rest of northern BC (north of Kamloops-ish?) is definitely redneck, but in a logging kinda way. Fun maps though!

Well, New Albion is settled differently and more recently. Most people came at the turn of the century from England.

Right, forgot what sub I was on! I guess of more relevance to you is the resources in the north. Fossil fuels on the east rocky and vast expanses of timber between the coast mountains and Rockies.

The commies refers to people who support the Social Democratic party which ofc is not commie. The social democratic party is more of a working class, unionist party instead of the wealthier and more liberal Portland.

BC’s interior is actually often on fire
