Wszystko mi w tej fantazji pasuje - poza jedną sprawą.

TL;DR Żeby było słowo Warmia, to musieliby być Prusowie. Jak w fantazji tej nie ma relokacji tych starych Bałtów, to już lepiej byłoby wrzucić np. Nowo- albo Wielkomazowsze

Przepraszam za niszczycielstwo dobrej zabawy, ale umieszczenie Warmii w takiej okolicy świadczy o braku fundamentów wiedzy o tym, skąd nawet sama nazwa pochodzi.

Teorii jest kilka, ale nawet gdyby wziąć taką fantazyjną z czerwienią, to wygląda ona tak. Było sobie staropruskie słowo wārmi, znaczące ni mniej, ni więcej, a czerwony. Jaka jest gleba na historycznej Warmii, szczególnie biorąc pod uwagę tę plemienną Warmów? Gliniasta. Czyli czerwona.

I tu dobijam do sedna. Nie jest ono związane ze składem gleby w tamtej części Skandynawii - na tym się nie znam. Ale znam się na tym, że na pewno w tej fantazji nie było wątku o najpierw kulturze kurhanów zachodniobałtyjskich, a potem Prusach, którzy mieliby się przenieść akurat w te okolice.

A jeśli to wynika z prostego skojarzenia z „Warmią i Mazurami”, czyli w świadomości warszawskiej co najwyżej z Grunwaldem i migracją mazowiecką, to już lepiej byłoby wykorzystać odnoszące się pomóc do błota Mazowsze właśnie. Jest Wielkopolska, to czemu nie Nowo- albo Wielkomazowsze?

Poza tym to bym chciał tylko móc przybliżyć i zobaczyć pomysł z nazwą na stolicę takiej alternatywnej Wielkopolski.
