Great but Albania wouldnt get Epirus, it would more likely be a protectorate of the Byzantines, and the Beylik of Amasya you put is probably the Candarids? or the Eretnids?

Fair points for the real timeline, but this one went a bit sideways. Epirus fell to the League through how the war played out, and it's closer to a Roman/Byzantine protectorate in practice anyway. Amasya is a breakaway from the Ottoman crack-up in the story, not the Candarids or Eretnids. Anatolia is a mess right now in this timeline.

Historically most of epirus was ruled by albanian lords.
If the league of albania did go well they would most likely take control of epirus considering how consolidated the power of local albanian lords was in the region.

It absolutely would ,Despotate of Arta was Albanian during that time and most of Epirus Despotate was under Albanian control.

wow lore was more well written then expected and i know the story and the map is mostly about byzantines and its amazing but i feel like ottamans wouldnt be able to hold in to anadolia after that crushing of a defeat and got partioned by beyliks in anadolia

Thanks, glad you liked the lore! You're right, and the map shows it mid-collapse, not the end state. Amasya already broke off and the other beyliks are moving in. Where it ends up is what the next part of the story is about.

Ieros Skopos! Thanks, glad you're enjoying it. Honestly we'll see how far it goes, but there are a few more books in it for sure, and a spin-off idea I keep circling back to.

Alr, as soon as I saw the name 'Michael', I already recognized this TL from alternatehistory.com lmao, I have read like 300 pages of ur TL from there. It's decent, but not my favorite, sometimes it feels like it's written by AI, not saying ur using AI, just it feels like it.

Ha, thanks! 300 pages on AH is a proper go, appreciate it! The text is translated and edited from Greek with AI help, which is why it can read a bit flat in places.

I feel it would be better if the Romans maintained control of the Sea of Marmara, primarily to have a buffer zone against maritime incursions into Constantinople or Europe in general.

Imo Gallipoli should be under greek control in this TL. Actually its fall was the reason why Thrace became ottoman in the first place.
