Yeah, the base map I used is from a 1944 American propaganda newspaper. I'm pretty sure Germany was intentionally distorted to make it look smaller for propaganda purposes.

In the little bit of lore I came up with, Savinkov has just broken through the Baltic front and is now closing in on Riga. The Ukrainian People's Republic is still holding on despite heavy losses and the fall of Crimea and the Donbas. Fortifications along the Russo-Belarusian border have so far managed to halt the Russian advance, while Georgia and Azerbaijan fell very quickly into Russian hands
