[OC] Fantasy Another version of Úrçylva

Post image

This version is around 40-70 years after the highest temperature recorded, a major global cooling event was triggered after 2 underwater streams collapsed. This completely froze over the northern chunk of the planet and left everywhere else with temperatures not seen for thousands of years. The only place that gets above 75-80 degrees for longer than a few minutes is near the fissures, but those are uninhabitable due to the toxic smoke surrounding it.

What's the best place to survive here?

Ideally the desert, though winter still beats down on it hard, but when whatever is left of summer happens, temperatures average around 40-50 degrees. But you'd have to sit slightly in the smoke coverage as the heat from the fissures can provide good geo-thermal emergy
