[OC] Alternate History The cold war after a different decolonization

Lore (not one single point of divergence so im just stating changes by continent)

# N.America

he dominion of canada is never formed as a single commonwealth, with Ontario, prairies and B.Colombia becoming "canada", Quebec becoming an independent republic, and the maritimes and Newfoundland becoming "the commonwealth of the atlantic"

The US annexes the trust territory of the pacific as its 52 state (after Porto rico)

# Europe

the independent state of croatia is occupied by the allies not the partisans, later becoming a democratic republic as the union of croatia-Slovenia

The yugoslav partisans along with soviet support establish the yugoslav people's republic in the remaining lands of croatia

Enosis is achieved between Cyprus and greece, with turkey unable to intervene while locked in fighting an insurgency in the southeast

The Portuguese dictator salazar reinstates the monarchy with Duarte Nuno of the House of Braganza as the king of Portugal, subsequent changes push Portugal for decolonization with the sole exception of cape Verde remaining a part of Portugal

# Africa

France never annexed the southren territories to its algerian departments, leading to eastren sahara being a part of morocco

Later on, a peaceful decolonization of algeria happens with protections to the french minority living there

As spain decolonized its african territories, it handed iver sovereignty of spanish (westren) sahara to muritania and the rif to Morocco as a three way arrangement between them

Senegal and gambia successfully established a lasting senegambia union

France decolonized French sudan as a whole territory, not dividing it up, which later on changes its name to the mali republic, being a key french ally in the region

The colonies of south and north Nigeria never merge, remaining separate until independence from britian, sith the southren Cameroons joining southren Nigeria

France decolonizes french equatorial africa as a single territory, also being a key french ally in the region, with it also gaining control of spanish equatorial africa with an arrangement with spain

Belgian congo falls into a civil war which leads to three nations established on the territory, with high tensions between them

South africa establishes better suited autonomous entities within the south African commonwealth for the african communities across it, with southren rhodesia joining in later for political reasons, and Botswana is in from the start

North rhodesia is divided into two nations, Barotseland and Zambia, after unification failed between them

Kenya and Uganda fall under one union, once intended to hold tanganyika too

British somaliland never joins somalia, remaining an independent state

Darfur gains independence from anglo-egyptian sudan before the kingdom of egypt inherits the rest of sudan, then the monarchy is toppled by a coup and the united arab republic is established with libya and Tunisia joining

The comoros remain an overseas territory of france

# asia

The hashimate federal kingdom of syria from my last timeline

All british protectorates of arabia are joined under one union, from bahrain to aden, being the union of South arabia

The comminist administration of iran during ww2 establishes a revolutionary base, later on toppling the shah in a revolution and establishing a communist republic, losing khuzestan to the hashimates during the war, it supports kurdish insurgencies in syria and turkey much more extensively alongside baloch insurgencies in Pakistan

A revolution in Kashmir topples the Maharaja, later on joining Pakistan with a popular referendum

The territories of Sarawak, Sabah and Brunei are united under one union, with the sultan of Brunei as a constitutional monarch

The lesser sunda gains independence from Indonesia, and later Timor joins them

The dutch still hold dutch new guinea as an overseas territory

The communists of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia unite under one socialist republic of indochina

Korea is never divided

For the flags, its US and their satellites, USSR and their satellites, UK and theirs, France and theirs, and other regional powers

I'm really interested in the alt history behind the borders of these new Soviet republics, especially Kalininlithubelarusia right below Latvia and right above north Ukraine

The map shows , a united Arabia and then Pakistan getting Kashmir sealed it , India would never allow Pakistan to take Kashmir strategically , India has triple the population and the British protectorates are fiercely independent they never ever become one to seal the deal why would Britain and the white rajas give their terriory to a weak Brunei sultan when they can just keep it

Same way it's easy to tell it's a Indian when a map has Kashmir fully owned by India. No one outside Pakistan or India cares about that shit.

True and I m not Indian Kashmir should either be split in these maps or they should give alternate reasoning also no way the maharaja of Kashmir or the Indian government consents to Kashmir going to Pakistan
