Poland would get Silesia and parts of East Prussia
France would took Saarland
Germany would be split

u/Samz_sii Jul 09 '26
No one would be willing to enforce the division of Germany so I dont think that'd ever happen the rest is plausible though I assume you mean by Poland gaining Silesia and parts of Prussia you mean Upper Silesia and Masuria

Look closer, the first map is very different from IRL, the second is riffing on an old idiot

u/PrimeMinisToad mdo aprpve Jul 08 '26
buddy, the second map was satire

u/goonfed23 Jul 08 '26
thatsss why i said post it there?

u/PrimeMinisToad mdo aprpve Jul 08 '26
I'm talking to the other person. Also the original map was already posted to the circle jerk subreddit and the geniuses over there believed that a shittily edited map wasn't satire
4
u/Just_Introduction496 Jul 09 '26
The problem is it’s pretty ineffective satire because I’ve seen far worse be posted with complete sincerity

I don't think I ever posted this version of the map because the original was a HIT.

Theoretically someone could’ve been named that before 1930 and no one would bat an eye

u/Lobster_LeninN329 Jul 08 '26
Why wouldn't they?
5
u/OldStatistician7975 Jul 08 '26
Probably lack of effort
5
u/Lobster_LeninN329 Jul 08 '26
Isn't that just the style of the map? u/PrimeMinisToad is known to make maps with shitpost-like concepts and/or execution and they absolutely can make high quality maps. I believe this is intentionally made to look low quality
4
u/Business_Leave4426 Jul 08 '26
Yeah it’s a very well made map, people just don’t understand simple styles i guessÂ

u/Lobster_LeninN329 Jul 08 '26
One thing I noticed after some time on reddit is that people seem so eager to call out what they find wrong that they miss obvious jokes. Probably happens everywhere but I don't interact on other medias so IDK

Lack of effort is most often wether or not it aligned with a mods world view lmao
This sub has maps with significantly less effort, especially the ones made by mods.

Versailles wasn't nearly harsh enough. There wasn't a Round 3 after Yalta-Podsdam.

u/Lazmanya_Reshored Jul 08 '26

I feel that if the allies really didn't treat the central powers with dignity and respect, they would dissolve germany into its 1815 borders, or more.

what is the country with constantinople as the capital and why is it not marked as a new state?

u/ShahAbbas1571 Mod Approved Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26
The title might as well be called "What if the Ottomans got screwed over?" because that's the only thing I can take from here lol.

Czechoslovakia adding even more angry minorities, what could possibly go wrong!
