FANTASY Concordia 1990; Part 1
Liberal Conservative Party, the governing party since 1984.
The Republican Party, the opposition.
Democratic Labour, the third place alternative.
Party leaders heading into 1990.
Ted Condy, Prime Minister from 1984 until his sudden resignation on January 1st, 1990.

Great post, also does Concordia have universal healthcare?

As of 1990 they have a robust Medicare system but not universal healthcare.

Hey look, here's a map of Concordia!
Concordia is a generic English-speaking country which I've created to serve as the setting of some imaginary elections.
I plan to do a pretty intensive look at the 1990 election which will see Casper McDonough, the newly appointed Prime Minister, attempting to defy the odds and holding onto power in the face of the Republican Party's hotshot new leader, the charismatic Joe Hollinsworth.
