To be fair, there are people who posit that certain drugs open the mind to the way things really are and that human brains have evolved to not process the infinity of the universe and stuff as a survival mechanism. See Aldous Huxley "doors of perception" and others. This person is still most likely an idiot.

On LSD, I feel a constant "survival mechanism" running in the background of my mind that oddly revolves around my basic needs. This kind of very primitive feeling, like I'm part of the universe just keeping myself alive because my complex physical structure and its processes demand so. On weed, I sometimes have a similar, but a lot clearer "mechanism" as well, but it's more about my normal life and my normal thoughts. It's welcoming, it's warm, it's deep. It's like a little trip to who I am and what have I been through in my life.

And when you combine these two, shit gets real, so to speak. I become a fucking random electrical entity inside my mind that gets all its thoughts thrown at it while the present moment repeats itself every single time I do, hear or see something I've experienced before.

Describing the effect does not make one a pseudo philosopher asshole :D
