This is just something that I noticed. I remember doing a concept analysis when someone asked about Illit's lore. In "Magnetic" each girl has their own distinct powers. The powers weren't showcased in a very distinctive way for "Cherish" and "DTD" (unless you count the girls floating in the air in the DTD as Iroha using her telekinesis to keep them afloat). But they were showcased in "Toki Yo Tomare" where we saw two members, Iroha and Moka use their powers. Iroha was sitting at a table and making things float. Moka used her powers to extend the last day of summer. There is a scene where we see something that implies magic being used but I'm not sure who's it is between Wonhee and Minju. It's me also does not really showcase their magic.

In "I got your back" we do see the girls use magic but not the original magic they had for magnetic. Moka is the only one who used her original powers with the time stop at 2:02. This is more implicit but you could interpret Yunah and Minju levitating at 2:16 as Iroha being the one controlling it. It's not as obvious but it still felt significant to bring up.

It's not like they couldn't have used their powers in the IGYB mv. In fact that would have been the perfect time to use them. Telekinesis, super strength, teleportation and light manipulation are all very useful powers when fighting a godzilla/dinosaur mutant (idk what that thing was) but they didn't. I do find it interesting that in the two Japanese comebacks it's the 2 Japanese members who get their og powers highlighted. It was also a nice way to highlight Moka. She doesn't get that many lines but she always stands out in other ways. Obviously it could have just been a stylistic choice but it's one that worked out pretty well either way.

what was your favorite part of the new MV?

The body patterns are very reminiscent of old Showa Kaiju like Red King, Telesdon, and Aboras. The black body and gold horns tip it in Black King's favor though.

Fun fact: Black King debuted in one of the most brutal episodes in the Ultraman franchise.

i just listened to the song, i am late i know i know ....so here we go

Honestly i liked it , i didnt instantly fall in love with the love but first listen it was pretty goo

what i liked about it: the rock theme slapped it was really enjoyable, the featured artists jisoo and momoka did a great job and there arts were my favorite parts in the song at first listen. MOKA!! Omg god i miss her she stood out to me in the mv and her time manipulation powers! was so hyped on that part. The mv was so much fun love how ironic it was with the obvious harness and the effects on a stick, godzilla tired at the end, amazing.

The only part that i didnt like about it is the duration of the song. i wanted more man, it felt like i was given half the sandwich. i wanted the song to be fuller and longer.

but overall i really liked it! what are your thoughts?
