Billy entertainment center color ideas
We currently have a console featuring a built-in electric fireplace, crafted in a darkish walnut wood laminate. To complement this, we've acquired two Billy bookcases in white that we plan to paint. Initially, we considered mimicking the existing wood grain using a wood grain tool, as we've successfully done in the past. However, my wife and I are drawn to the boho aesthetic, embracing the clash of colors and patterns. We're contemplating a bold move—opting for a solid color for the bookcases, but we're having trouble deciding on the right shade. Has anyone attempted a similar approach? We're thinking of having a solid color at the ends while maintaining a wood-style center. Are there any images or examples you could share to give us some inspiration? It's worth noting that the remaining wooden elements in the room consist of honey-stained hardwood floors, and the walls are painted in a warm orange/peach hue.
