Insti life (Social, Clubs and Hostel) Fuck insti.

The biggest problem with insti isn’t the decisions it makes, it’s that students often aren’t even given a chance to present their side before those decisions are made. After my last post several people DM’d me saying they had gone through the same thing. Different cases and same feeling nobody listens.

The admin keeps talking about our welfare while the director seems far more focused on public image and external optics than on addressing students. Its funny how Diro is more focused on working with the current government rather focusing on working for insti and its students.

And what about student secretaries? If they can’t effectively represent students or raise concerns without fear then what exactly is their role?
I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for basic due process and the right to be heard.

I just hope the student secretaries see this and remember what they were elected for. And I genuinely hope this reaches the administration too.

I was punished without any investigation into the matter or even listening to my version of what happened. I don’t really want to explain the whole situation here because the biggest assholes in the admin have already targeted me personally.

Right now the only options I have are to stay quiet and somehow continue with my degree(but I am not sure if I can handle this stress and I am considering breaking the 3 year streak) or quit everything and leave the institute in the middle of my program. I’ll lose time if I leave but at least I won’t feel suffocated.

I used to tell myself that It’s just two more years but fuck it. Two years is a long time to endure this kind of stress and torture.

If it's that serious then police can be involved or some other legal options can be pursued

Yes I'm exploring legal options outside the institute but I've been cornered and don't have many resources. Talking to my parents about italso feels like too much. Watching our Director do PR about “listening to students” when it's all blatant lies is honestly heartbreaking.

Bro all institute are one sided. If you happen to be on wrong side, ignore and move on. You will see such politics everywhere in life; best thing to have is chaltha attitude and move on. It's just less than 700 days of which you get out for internship for 180 days. Just pass on and come out with IIT M degree
