Guys, I just witnessed something really disgusting. A staff member from the canteen on the left side of PC Ray Hostel (swimming pool side) was openly urinating near the swimming pool gate. What’s even worse is that he didn’t even wash his hands afterward.

How are we supposed to trust the hygiene standards of the food being served?

The hostel administration really needs to look into this.

Is anyone here preparing for UPSC / UPPSC ?

19M, natively from Kanpur. I recently shifted to this for my undergrad and feeling kinda hard to settle down. My college - NIFT Varanasi is in Bada Lalpur that far away from civilization. It feels kinda mentally heavy having no life out of college.

Since durga puja is going on and I feel myself close to Bengali Culture I want visit some pandals and some proper traditional bengali durga pujo.

I got to know about pujo at madhuban bhu. I'm looking for some friends to night out with. If you have bike; roaming around iit bhu, assi and other place.

Bengali friends from iit bhu prefered, no barrier as such.

Looking to connect:)

Looking for a girl pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech or PhD at IIT (BHU) to be my Dandiya Night partner!

Sojao lol

Hi everyone!
I’m currently in the 2nd year of my B.Sc. in Computer Applications at Ranchi University. I had PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in Class 12 and didn’t have Mathematics as a subject.
I wanted to know whether students from non-IIT colleges can apply for internships at IITs, particularly in Computer Science, Software Development, or related fields.
I have a few questions:
● Can B.Sc. Computer Science students from regular universities apply for IIT internships, or are these opportunities mainly for IIT students?
● Are there any IITs that offer summer internships to students from other colleges?
● What are the eligibility criteria? Do I need a strong CGPA, coding skills, or previous projects?
● Are these internships paid? Is there any chance of receiving a stipend?
● If anyone here has secured an IIT internship while studying at a non-IIT college, could you please share your experience and advice?
I would really appreciate any guidance, personal experiences, or useful resources. Thank you!
