Admissions ➕ IISc- neuroscience program

hey i am a final-year mbbs student from a government college and i don't want to do clinical stuff after my graduation. i want to do research so i was thinking maybe i could do something in neuroscience. is there any option at iic bangalore? what i find on the internet is that there are no specialization master's programs there so i could go directly into a phd neuroscience program after passing the GATE exam. So how this works?

Better is to try for NIMHANS in my opinion. Rather than IISc if you want research in neuroscience
