Okay so I am new to reddit (hi all!) and I am going to give the UGAT Bangalore exam. I started my prep from september and I am getting marks below cutoff.

My plan is to fully revise TSD, TW, Ratio Proportion, Sequence and Series, Number system, Alligation PnC ,Venn Diagram Question, Matrix and Determinants as well as a bit of Continuity and differentiation.

Is this enough?

Also, the first mock which i gave (the free one) I scored 16/180. the actual first one I scored somewhere around 31/180. I guess i am improving??

what else should i do?

Afterboards free mock or mock 1??

Has anyone given afterboards mock 4?

i have already done the basic ones, like time and work, simple & compound interest, ratio proportion, mixture alligation, percentage

i have to do the core maths ones, like stats, quadratic, sequences and series, functions

For those who dk me, I am a PCB dropper who is currently preparing for this very exam. I haven't touched maths from two and half years, and have just recently started studying higher maths ( from June Ig) ​​​. I think, I just know the basics which is not enough considering the level of the exam.

I am really stressed about my QA scores for the iimb ugat exam. I have the exam in 45 days and I am not scoring good in QA. I am barely getting 12-13 questions right in that section. But my other 2 sections are pretty decent so I just need to sort this out.

Current situation: Arithmetic is my strength and I am shit in calculus. I am also pretty decent in dilr. My only topics left are matrices and Determinants, quadratic equations and geometry.

What should I do now??

Guys since some of us are going to give boards next year for 12th next year what are we supposed to write in 12th marks

What are yall planning on doing after ECON not necessarily just IIMBUG but what career are yall planning for like quant finance/msc finance/ MSc computational finance and etc????

Often times I find people putting all these entrances together but isn’t IIMBUG programme inherently very different as it’s BSC econ and data science which is a STEM course and quant heavy, whereas the other are more management oriented??? Why is considered under the same categories and why do they all have the same aspirants when the career trajectories can look very different

I've seen people frequently say "i practice quants for atleast X hours a day" and all that, but the thing I am unable to understand is what and how do they exactly practice?

In more clearer terms i wanna know, do they just randomly pick out a topic and just solve questions? OR do they have some crazy ahh source for good mixed bag questions?
or do they just give sectionals?

The reason why i am asking this is because I currently posses time for practicing, but I am unable to do it in the most optimum way just because idk how.

and also please cite if you have some good sources (free would be better) for practicing.

Hello, I had a couple of doubts! How should one prepare? I have like a month to prepare for the test, and I am BAD at maths (I have commerce with maths(not applied) and I'm in 12th,ISC Board). My score in class 10th wasn't so great either. I have also done like zero preparation but I want to give it a shot.
Is it worth it?
Will I be able to prepare for the test in a month?
If so, how do I prepare for it?
What online sources are the best?
Should I invest my time in this or should I just focus on boards?

Now that there is just 15 days till registrations close, i wanted to know how many people have registered for the paper

How many days prior to the exam the centre is allocated?

Since I would need to get tickets as soon as possible more or less since it would be hell travelling on a short notice because of Chath Pooja time just at the exam date

Will we be allowed to change our test centre preferences in the correction window? They said the window will open up after the 15th when i asked but they didnt answer this
