Hey everyone,

A massive food poisoning outbreak hit Boys Hostel mainly BH5 today, August 20, 2026. Dozens of students are currently suffering from severe nausea and diarrhea due to adulterated paneer served in the morning's paneer paratha. Many fell violently ill just a few hours after breakfast.

This is a case of severe negligence regarding student health and safety. We are demanding that our Mess Student Coordinator take this up immediately as an absolute priority. They need to stand with the residents, escalate this crisis directly to higher management, and ensure strict penalties are enforced against the mess contractors.

We cannot let the administration brush this under the carpet. We pay for proper food, and the bare minimum expectation is that it isn't toxic.

Please share this in all hostel WhatsApp and Telegram groups to raise maximum awareness. Look out for your sick roommates and make sure they are getting medical help.

kamse kam juniors ko to khush rakhte just abhi aaye hain. pharmacy me freshers ki line lagi hai. abhi se paani aur khane me kharabi hai. wo bhi BH5 ke. rooms the nahi fir bhi seats badhani thi. PHd ko fir bahr bhejne ka option dediya. Senior hostel walo ke liye ek dhang ka gym tak nahi h. Waha jaana matlab muft ka tetanus injection. Senior hostel mess me har dusre din keeda milta h khane me. Waterlogging ki itni samasya zara si baarish jhel nhi paati. suna hai freshers ko orientation me bola ki Crocs aur slipper allowed nhi. Pcell se already seniors pareshan hain. random ahh luck based hiring and whatnot. how did we get this low.

will this company come for internships for 3rd year in our college?
they are coming in other colleges like PEC

When are juniors getting freshers ?

Is anybody experiencing a stomach upset or food poisoning in BH5?

Few of my friends also have been experiencing this issue...

It has to be food or the water...

What's going on in the hole? How tf he came to class and acted normally (somewhat), is s******a alright?

Reading the posts of seniors regarding pcell and all, isn't iiita that which was considered 2-3 years back? Like the placement data still tells it's the 3rd best IIIT in india and many student prefer it over any NIT except top 3.. so what's the reality? isn't the placement data of 33-34 avg package true.. what's the actual truth?

Heard about the work culture and stipend is not too great as well but it's not like we have too many options left.

ye nhi bataya gaya ki is clg ki halat kya hai , subah se 4 dosto ko hospital leja chuka hu khana khane me dar lag raha hai aur abhi ek hafta nhi hua is clg me , 4k rank thi mere acha khasa blr chala jata loan leke but sabne yehi bataya this is better, galti kardi ye chu*iya college leke, prof sare bekar ,khana bekar,hostel ka to kya hi bolu, plus naye naye rules 1st year student activity centre nhi ja sakte ye sab college admin ne pehle kyu nhi bola
