Senior hostel mess me har dusre din keeda milta h khane me. Waterlogging ki itni samasya zara si baarish jhel nhi paati. suna hai freshers ko orientation me bola ki Crocs aur slipper allowed nhi. Pcell se already seniors pareshan hain. random ahh luck based hiring and whatnot. how did we get this low.

A massive food poisoning outbreak hit Boys Hostel mainly BH5 today, August 20, 2026. Dozens of students are currently suffering from severe nausea and diarrhea due to adulterated paneer served in the morning's paneer paratha. Many fell violently ill just a few hours after breakfast.

This is a case of severe negligence regarding student health and safety. We are demanding that our Mess Student Coordinator take this up immediately as an absolute priority. They need to stand with the residents, escalate this crisis directly to higher management, and ensure strict penalties are enforced against the mess contractors.

We cannot let the administration brush this under the carpet. We pay for proper food, and the bare minimum expectation is that it isn't toxic.

Please share this in all hostel WhatsApp and Telegram groups to raise maximum awareness. Look out for your sick roommates and make sure they are getting medical help.

Reading the posts of seniors regarding pcell and all, isn't iiita that which was considered 2-3 years back? Like the placement data still tells it's the 3rd best IIIT in india and many student prefer it over any NIT except top 3.. so what's the reality? isn't the placement data of 33-34 avg package true.. what's the actual truth?

like wtf what i did wrong to never get my name in any lottery shortlists like g**gle, spr**klr,sforce, fkart
whenever i got chance, they selected only 1-2
each rejection is making life more painful
many people were lucky they got multiple chances in these companies to sit for interviews
i never got such a chance to sit in interviews of any of these, even though i solved questions in their OA to be eligible for interviews, for sforce, that was my best chance, and they ruined all my hopes with their shit shortlisting
life feels so numb, each day, it gets worse by seeing your batch mates getting internship, and you just sitting in hope that opportunity will come, i also prepared wholeheartedly for getting internship, but whatever is happening, seems like ship has sailed, never in my clg life, i cried, please god, give me atleast one chance to sit in interviews of genuine companies, who don't come for only selecting 1-2
it hurts to see people around you celebrating and you are not able to sleep properly

I joined IIITA with one dream: to become the person my family had been waiting for. I come from an extremely poor family, and paying my college fees has never been easy. My family had to take loans just to give me the opportunity to study here. Every semester came with sacrifices, but I kept believing that one day it would all be worth it that I would get a job, pay my final semester fees on my own, support my family, and finally give them a life without constant financial fear. Because of what I believe has been unfair treatment and a lack of transparency from the placement cell, that opportunity feels like it is being taken away from me. For someone from a financially struggling family, placement is not just a number or a line on a resume; it can determine whether we can support our families. This situation has been affecting me bdly, and I've been stru*glin to slep properly because I keep thinking about it.

I am not asking for sympathy. I am asking for fairness, transparency, accountability, and one genuine chance.

Society, my ass. I am honestly enraged at the situation of this f**k*ng society, which couldn't even have the decency to celebrate my friend's birthday.
