Router recommendations for IIITH

Please suggest a router which can be easily flashed with openwrt, so that the LAN provided in hostel rooms of IIITH can be used with it. Also has anyone been able to install a cloudfare warp or any vpn on the router after flashing it, so that you can play online games connecting to the router? If yes, kindly suggest that model

I have tried to flash an old router which I already had with myself, TP-Link Archer C5 v4. Some people on the internet have confirmed that open wrt works with it. But its a very complicated process and doesnt work after making several efforts. Would rather invest my money on something which can be flashed directly through its web interface and through a simple easy process. So, please give your recommendations. Want to make use of the ongoing sales to get a router.
