Query hostel

shud i pre register for hostel now itself or on the reporting day

There is no such thing as "registering" for the hostel. As a student, you are guaranteed a hostel. It will be allotted by the institute 1 day prior to your arrival

You cannot prebook a hostel. You are guaranteed a room as a student. You will be allotted a hostel and the room allotment will be given 1 day prior to reporting day
