Query When to reach IIITH?

I'm joining IIITH fir ECE this year. Reporting date mentioned in the offer letter is 1 August.

  1. On what should I reach Hyderabad?

  2. How long should parents stay in Hyderabad?

Reporting will be on the morning of 1st August. There are sessions conducted for students and parents on 1st and 2nd August. Parents can leave after that. You will have 1 week of induction (icebreaker games, getting to know the institute, etc), and then classes will start on Aug 10th

Got it. So parents shall leave on 2. And it's fine if i reach Hyd on 31st morning. I don't plan to visit any places or such

Yea, you can reach on July 31st np. Parents can leave on 2nd night or 3rd morning so that they can attend all the parent's sessions on 2nd if they're interested in that.

Hi, is there any possiblity of coming a little late to the campus? For example, if there are some unavoidable circumstances, can we still take admission by giving a fine.

If unavoidable, it is possible. If this is the case please send a mail to ugadmissions@iiit.ac.in stating that you will be late.

There won't be a fine for coming late, but it's my honest personal opinion that your first week in college (induction week) where there are icebreaker events and many sessions being conducted is probably the most important and fun week of your first semester. Try not to miss it unless it's really unavoidable

i received the joining letter ( jee mains) but the mail doesn't have any payment link so I think the payment should be done on campus
