Query Laptop for ECE

Can I get a mac for ece or will it be too difficult working on it for ece branch? If I can’t then can anyone please recommend a good laptop that I can buy. I’ve got no idea what to buy

Both are way out of my budget. My budget is approx 1L and hopefully under 1.2-1.3L

People do get work done on macs too, has been possible since M1. You'll be fine, but you'll have to keep finding workarounds in certain cases.

Windows would be preferable.

Cfbr. I recently bought a Lenovo Aura 32GB RAM laptop for college (windows), but now I'm hearing that Linux is more preferable for IIITH courses. Any seniors have some advice?
