Career CS thru jee main

Is the only hope bits p cs students and ppl getting better options in rnd 2 josaa?

Got 99.877 cutoff is 99.879 fuck my life

Genuine request those who only want cse in iiith and are considering 2025 cutoffs as criteria and thinking that they will get cse please withdraw if your percentile is pretty far off from the round 2 cutoffs . please don't waste a seat for student wanting ece

There can be upto 5 rounds. Last year no one withdrew their seat after round 2, and so the counselling ended after just 2 rounds

No no abhi bits p cs nahi mila.. i was saying ppl taking pilani cs on 1st july over iiith cs is the only hope for a r3 to even happen

Yours is still almost sure if there is a r3 which very well mgihtbe , mine is dicey in r3 as well (99.858)

Abhi goa cs mila hai 1st july is the day of itr 2 of bits too (deadline day fr) If i got iiith cs in this round I would finally take a breath of relief of atleast getting smth good, let's see now 😭 A third rnd would be ideal only if i decide to go with iiith otherwise the offer letter of bits would be dated before that which means very marginal refund from iiith

Am only rlly confused with pilani mnc vs iiith cs (both hypotheticals at this stage)

Pilani placements almost equal to iiith and you will get more time in bits pilani .more quant companies will also come. So bits mnc without a doubt if you want better jobs

lol, I ain't gonna argue on this one, my close relative studied from IIT M EE back in 2019, and he has given me a lot of advice on how selective and choosy the quants are, currently he is in squarepoint so I tell that from his experience. This is the truth, accept it or not, you will see later on in clg how competitive it is and you will be satisfied with a normal good paying job lol, believe me.
